Sevilla. Siglo XV. El aire es una mezcla de azahar, de humedad del río Betis y de pólvora de los asedios, pero también huele al incienso de las iglesias, al almizcle de las mezquitas y al pergamino de las sinagogas.

Sevilla es, y ha sido siempre, su gente. Siglos de convivencia labraron una idiosincrasia única, un tiempo donde las murallas no solo separaban, sino que custodiaban mundos por descubrir.

Cristianos, musulmanes y judíos edificaron aquí una identidad compartida, en sus calles y edificios, en el comercio, en las costumbres y en la memoria de la ciudad, con trece puertas que hoy son el eco de nuestra historia.

Las piedras vuelven a hablar.

Te invitamos a un viaje al corazón de la humanidad, a recorrer la memoria de sus calles y a sentir el peso de las llaves en tu mano.

UNA CIUDAD PARA DESCUBRIR

13 Puertas es un juego de mesa inspirado en la Sevilla del siglo XV y en el legado de las Tres Culturas.

Pero es también una invitación a mirar la ciudad con otros ojos.

A imaginar cómo era caminar por sus calles cuando sus murallas protegían una ciudad llena de actividad, de comercio y de contrastes. Una ciudad en la que distintas comunidades dejaron su huella y en la que cada puerta podía ser el comienzo de una nueva historia.

Hemos querido llevar esa Sevilla a la mesa y convertirla en una experiencia que pueda disfrutarse jugando, pero también descubriéndola.

TRES CULTURAS, UNA HISTORIA

Cristianos, musulmanes y judíos forman parte esencial de la identidad de 13 Puertas.

Sus símbolos, sus monedas y sus referencias históricas están presentes en el juego para recordarnos que aquella Sevilla fue construida por personas, comunidades y culturas que compartieron una misma ciudad.

No queríamos utilizar las Tres Culturas simplemente como ambientación.

Queríamos que estuvieran presentes en la propia experiencia de juego.

Que las descubras mientras juegas.

Que te preguntes por ellas.

Y que, quizá, cuando termine la partida, tengas ganas de saber un poco más.

LAS 13 PUERTAS

Las murallas protegían Sevilla y sus puertas conectaban la ciudad con el mundo exterior.

Hoy muchas de aquellas puertas han desaparecido, pero sus nombres y su memoria permanecen.

En 13 Puertas, esas trece puertas vuelven a reunirse sobre un mismo tablero.

Cada una representa una parte de aquella ciudad y se convierte en un pequeño fragmento de su historia.

No son simplemente casillas de un tablero.

Son puertas que nos permiten entrar en otra época.

HISTORIA QUE SE JUEGA

Queremos que la historia esté presente sin convertirse en una clase.

Por eso hemos intentado que el contexto histórico forme parte natural del juego: en sus ilustraciones, en sus cartas, en sus monedas, en los lugares que representa y en los acontecimientos que pueden aparecer durante la partida.

Mientras juegas, Sevilla está ahí.

Y detrás de cada elemento hay una historia que descubrir.

Porque quizá esa sea la mejor manera de acercarnos al pasado:

no solo leyéndolo, sino imaginándolo.

UNA EXPERIENCIA PARA COMPARTIR

13 Puertas está pensado para sentarse alrededor de una mesa y compartir una historia.

Para competir, negociar, sorprenderse y disfrutar de esos momentos que solo aparecen cuando varias personas juegan juntas.

Pero también para despertar curiosidad.

Para que alguien termine una partida y diga:

"¿Y esa puerta dónde estaba?"

O:

"¿Qué era exactamente un dirham?"

O simplemente:

"Quiero saber más sobre aquella Sevilla."

Si conseguimos eso, habremos conseguido algo más que hacer un juego.

¿POR QUÉ 13 PUERTAS?

Porque creemos que la cultura también puede jugarse.

Que la historia puede ser divertida.

Que aprender no siempre significa sentarse delante de un libro.

Y que un juego de mesa puede convertirse en una pequeña máquina del tiempo: abrir una caja, sentarse con otras personas y viajar juntos a otro lugar y a otra época.

13 Puertas nace con esa intención.

Un proyecto independiente, nacido de la pasión por Sevilla, por su historia y por los juegos de mesa.

Un proyecto que quiere recuperar una parte de nuestra memoria y convertirla en algo que podamos jugar, compartir y transmitir.

Las historias siguen ahí, escondidas entre sus calles y sus piedras.

Solo necesitamos las llaves para volver a entrar.

Seville is, and has always been, its people. Centuries of coexistence carved a unique identity, a time when city walls did not merely divide, but guarded worlds waiting to be discovered.

Christians, Muslims, and Jews built a shared identity here—within its streets and buildings, its trade, its customs, and in the memory of a city with thirteen gates that today echo our history.

We invite you on a journey to the heart of humanity, to walk the memory of its streets and feel the weight of the keys in your hand.

A CITY TO DISCOVER

13 Puertas is a tabletop game inspired by 15th-century Seville and the legacy of the Three Cultures.

Yet, it is also an invitation to look at the city through new eyes.

To imagine walking its streets when its walls protected a bustling city filled with trade, life, and contrasts. A city where distinct communities left their mark, and where every gate could be the beginning of a new story.

We wanted to bring that Seville to the table and turn it into an experience to be enjoyed both by playing and discovering.

THREE CULTURES, ONE STORY

Christians, Muslims, and Jews are an essential part of the identity of 13 Puertas.

Their symbols, coins, and historical references are woven into the game to remind us that Seville was built by real people, communities, and cultures sharing the same city.

We didn't want to use the Three Cultures merely as background flavor.

We wanted them to be actively present in the gameplay itself.

For you to discover them as you play.

To wonder about them.

And perhaps, when the game ends, to feel inspired to learn a little more.

THE 13 GATES

Walls protected Seville, and its gates connected the city with the outside world.

Today, many of those gates have vanished, but their names and memory remain.

In 13 Puertas, those thirteen gates come together once again on a single board.

Each one represents a piece of that historical city and becomes a small fragment of its story.

They are not just spaces on a board.

They are gateways that allow us to step into another era.

HISTORY YOU CAN PLAY

We want history to be present without feeling like a classroom lecture.

That is why we integrated the historical context naturally into every element of the game: through its artwork, cards, coins, depicted locations, and events that unfold during play.

While you play, Seville is right there.

And behind every component, there is a story waiting to be uncovered.

Because perhaps that is the best way to connect with the past:

Not just by reading it, but by imagining it.

AN EXPERIENCE TO SHARE

13 Puertas is designed for gathering around a table and sharing a story.

To compete, negotiate, surprise one another, and enjoy those spontaneous moments that only happen when people play games together.

It is also designed to spark curiosity.

So that someone finishes a game and asks:

"Where was that gate located?"

Or:

"What exactly was a dirham?"

Or simply:

"I want to know more about 15th-century Seville."

If we achieve that, we will have accomplished something far greater than just making a board game.

WHY 13 PUERTAS?

Because we believe culture can also be played.

That history can be fun.

That learning doesn't always mean sitting in front of a book.

And that a board game can become a small time machine: opening a box, gathering with others, and traveling together to another time and place.

13 Puertas was born with that vision.

An independent project born from a passion for Seville, its history, and tabletop games.

A project that seeks to reclaim a fragment of our shared memory and turn it into something we can play, share, and pass on.
