— description du concepteur

Présentation de la campagne

When I was young, I was known for coming up with games to play. Everything from new ways to play board games to full-on obstacle course dodgeball. Nothing could top the joy I felt when I was playing games or laughing with my friends. It felt like my imagination could pull me into another world, even if only for a moment.

When I was alone, I started drawing my favorite characters from TV shows and video games. At first, they looked awful. But the more I drew, the better they became. Eventually, I started fusing different characters together if i thought it would look cool and then from there I started creating entirely new artworks from my own imagination.

In my teens, I started getting into trouble. I found myself in ISS (In-School Suspension) more times than I’d like to admit. And strangely enough, that tiny ISS classroom is where a new game was born.

At first, there was no story. No lore. It was really just an excuse for another student and me to sit next to each other and talk during our suspension. We told our ISS teacher it was for a school project so she let it slide. During that time we made up cards, sketched rough character art, and came up with some basic rules. When I got home, my brain was on fire with ideas. I rushed into my dad’s garage and grabbed scrap plywood, spray paint, and electrical tape. That’s when I built the very first 7 Divisions game board.

It was huge. It was magnificent. And it was very heavy.

The next day, my friend and I played the first-ever match of 7D (7 Divisions). We spent about two hours arguing over balance, overpowered cards, and rules that didn’t quite work. But when the game ended, we both agreed on one thing. We had an incredible time. And we couldn’t wait to make this game better.

From that day on, little by little I kept building the game to make it smooth, simple, and fun. In this exercise we learned that simplicity made the game way more player intuitive and opened a path for new styles of gameplay.

Throughout the next several years, bringing early versions of this game to play-testing events has been huge in shaping 7 Divisions into the game it is today.

Watching people come together and laugh while we build this community is what makes all these years of hard work worth it. We hope this game will be as much fun for you as it has been for all of us!

7 DIVISIONS Video Series

Disclaimer:

This video is a visual preview of what the 7D series will look like. The official series is currently being created by local artists. What you’re seeing here is an early AI-generated sneak peek, built using our existing comic panels to help showcase the vision.

The year was 3650 a.d., in this time Earth’s beauty has been restored, common sickness has been dissolved, technologies have been shared that reinvent the way humans live their lives. Intergalactic careers were made available allowing Earthlings who wished to adventure the galaxy’s that very opportunity. There were many things that caused cultural shifts throughout earth but the largest shift was the introduction of the game, 7 Divisions.

7 Divisions was a sport that united the galaxy. It encouraged players to safely step outside and explore new worlds. By scanning unique encounters, players could transform what they discovered into powerful plates to use in game. The more they explored, the stronger they became.

Story Overview:

Adventure has always been a way of life for the Weiser family. Bound by an unbreakable love of exploration, they journey together into the unknown, always searching for the next great discovery. But when one expedition goes terribly wrong, their lives are changed forever.

A catastrophic accident tears a father away from his two children, leaving them stranded on a mysterious, untamed world unlike anything they’ve ever imagined. With no way of knowing how far apart they are, or if they’ll ever see one another again. The odds of survival seem impossible.

Determined to bring his family home, Judge Weiser rallies an entire community to join the desperate search. Meanwhile, his children must rely on the wilderness skills, courage, and resilience he spent their entire lives teaching them. Every lesson matters as they face dangerous creatures, unforgiving landscapes, and the countless mysteries hidden within an uncivilized planet.

Funding Goal:

Our Funding Goal: $1,000

7 Divisions has been 16 years in the making, and we’re finally ready to introduce it to the tabletop gaming community. Our first major milestone is making our debut at Gen Con 2026!.

Our goal of $1,000 is dedicated to getting 7 Divisions in front of as many players as possible. We are focused on one thing, building the 7 Divisions community. This support will help us introduce the game to new players, attend events, create demo experiences, and continue growing a community of players who can be part of this journey from the very beginning.

Stretch Goals: Building a Better Game Together

Our stretch goals are designed to help us expand production of 7 Divisions, allowing us to improve the quality of the game, unlock exciting upgrades, and make it more cost efficient for our players.

Our long-term vision is to self-publish and manufacture 7 Divisions, giving us complete creative control over the game’s quality and future. We estimate full manufacturing will require approximately $24,000, and every stretch goal met brings us one step closer to that vision.

As additional funding is unlocked, we’ll invest directly into premium upgrades for the final product.

$4,000 - Premium linen-finish card stock for a professional feel and greater durability.

$8,000 -  Upgraded packaging designed to impress from the moment it’s opened.

$12,000 - Have early access to four advanced decks.

$20,000 - High Quality double stitched neoprene game mats

$24,000 - Foil cards that make our artworks truly stand out.

Every stretch goal is chosen to make Seven Divisions a game you’ll be proud to own, play, and share with your friends.

Production Timeline

This timeline only applies to mass production. Your pledge rewards will be shipped within 1–2 months.

Once manufacturing funding has been secured, production is expected to take approximately 6–12 months. During that time, we’ll work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure every card, component, and box meets the quality standards our community deserves.

When production is complete, Seven Divisions will officially launch and become available to players around the world.

This Kickstarter is the first chapter in what we hope becomes a long-lasting community of players, collectors, competitors, and friends. Whether you’re backing us because you love strategy games, enjoy discovering new tabletop experiences, or simply believe in supporting independent creators, your contribution helps turn Seven Divisions from a passion project into a game that can reach tables everywhere.

Thank you for believing in Seven Divisions. We can’t wait to battle alongside you.

Company Goals

  1. Reach our Kickstarter Goals to manufacture and release the 1st edition of 7 Divisions!
  2. A 12-episode comic series has been written and is currently in the final stages of editing and artwork development. The long-term objective is to adapt the comic into a digital video series for online distribution.
  3. In the future we will release new sets of cards bi-annually! Each set being a minimum of 100 cards.
  4. Travel with 7 Divisions in hopes to have people play my game all over the world.
  5. With rise of popularity I would like to start a podcast where the audience gets in the minds of artists and creatives, we learn how they got to where they are now and what makes them unique. With the intention to inspire other creatives to follow their dreams as well as help show them a path to success.
  6. Bring 7 Divisions into the classroom to support the development of critical thinking, decision-making, reading comprehension, and mathematical reasoning skills. I have developed an educational curriculum called 7D Stealth Learning, designed to complement traditional instruction by engaging students through structured play. This approach provides students with a refreshing learning experience while actively strengthening essential academic and life skills.
  7. Create as many jobs for artists as possible while constantly improving the quality of the game. We want a game that grows with it’s players.
  8. We are seeking to develop an application that enables users to capture real world images and convert them into playable in game cards. The platform will support both casual play and competitive engagement, including trading, head to head battles, and structured ranked leagues.
  9. Quarterly events will be organized to celebrate our players and community through engaging entertainment experiences. These gatherings are intended to become signature annual events, providing a platform for ranked leagues to develop into well known tournaments. Additionally, art competitions will culminate in awarded prizes while fostering talent pipelines that lead to creative employment opportunities.
