Advanced Amazing Sword Gophers is a card game with RPG elements for 2 players. Players take turns tunnelling across the table by laying cards. As you build your network of tunnels, you will encounter various challenges along the way, in the form of obstacles or other critters (some of which will want to eat you). You'll also find trinkets that may enhance your gopher while in his/her possession. There are multiple win conditions defined in the rulebook, so you can set whatever goals you like for each game.
Each standard set has everything you need for two players: a 100 card deck of tunnels, food, critters, trinkets, and obstacles, plus two home cards (1 for each gopher) and 2 double-sided gopher character cards, for a total of for choices. Critters, obstacles, and trinkets are also represented with cardboard punchout tokens. Additional sets may be purchased to expand the game to 4, 6, or more players... or just to have a really big two player game.
The Deluxe set contains everything that comes with the Standard set, although the cardboard tokens are replaced with plastic minis and additional BackerKit Exclusive cards.
Add-Ons will include a neoprene playmat, additional plastic miniatures, tokens, and some of our other game products.
