What's New
What's Inside the Box? System Overload - a stand-alone game & expansion for Aeon's End
What's Inside the box - The Cinderkeep, the expansion included in every System Overload pledge!
Promos! Every copy of System Overload pledged includes these promos
Pledge Levels - A detailed description of what is in every pledge level
Pledge Levels - What is a "wave of content"
If you look directly above this text, you'll see a graphical representation and description of what a "wave" is. You will need to select which waves you want in the pledge manager. The pledge manager will open after the project ends, so you can't select which waves you want until the pledge manager opens.
Each wave is the retail version of an past year's release of the base pledge level of our prior Aeon's End crowdfunding projects.
Wave 1 - Aeon's End, The Depths, The Nameless
Wave 2 - War Eternal, The Void, The Outer Dark
Wave 3 - Legacy and Buried Secrets (there is a $10 Surcharge that will be added for this wave).
Wave 4 - New Age, Shattered Dreams, Ancients
Wave 5 - Outcasts, Return to Gravehold, Southern Village.
Wave 6 - Legacy of Gravehold, The Ruins (there is a $10 Surcharge that will be added for this wave).
Wave 7 - Past & Future, Origins, Evolution
Wave 8 - The Descent, The Caverns, The Abyss
Wave 9 - Beyond the Breach, The Surface, The Returned
Waves do not include Promos, Add-ons or Accessories that may have been available that year. Into the Wild and Tales of Old Gravehold were two small box expansions that are not part of any wave.
Details for the add-ons. New for this year, custom countdown dice, a Plushie, T-Shirt and more!
New to Aeon's End? Here is how to play!
The video linked above, from 3 Minute Board Games, is a short overview showing off our 1st edition of Aeon's End. While the art has changed since then, the video does an awesome job of giving you a quick idea of how to play.
This wonderful review from Liz Davidson goes into a little more detail but is under 15 minutes to watch, and is also the original art that has since been updated:
