In a near future, corporate warfare isn't fought in the shadows but broadcasted prime-time entertainment. Corporations settle disputes by sponsoring teams of highly trained, biologically enhanced operatives to steal and sabotage their rivals. Every punch, every shot, every roaring getaway is recorded and broadcast to the masses supporting their favorite teams and operatives.

What do the operatives get for putting their lives on the line? Fame and fortune, the adoration of the public, and to keep their interest they need to invest in a persona, the name their fanbase screams when they succeed. But its a 24 hour news cycle and a savvy operative also needs to feed it with dramatic stories for the gossip zines and commentators.

This is Ambitious Warfare, a tabletop roleplaying game where corporate espionage and black ops precision collides with a brutal spectacle akin to professional wrestling. The cameras are rolling and the corporate sponsors are watching. What sacrifices will you make for ratings?

100% Written, Ready to Play

The biggest risk in backing a TTRPG is wondering if it will get published. With Ambitious Warfare that risk is zero.

The core rulebook is already completely written and fully playtested. We are not crowdfunding to make a game, the game is done, but we need one last thing which is the artwork. To do justice to this game we have been working on for well over a decade we are seeking £2000 to commission unique, high quality illustrations from artists that will bring this setting to life.

Immediate Access, No Wait

The moment this campaign ends, and Kickstarter processes the funds, backers of  Operative level or higher will receive a copy of the current rulebook sans artwork. This text-only PDF allows you to read the setting, learn the mechanics and start running your games from day one. As our commissioned artists complete their work over the next 8 months we will slot the illustrations into the book. Once it is complete we will release the fully illustrated final PDF.

Where the Funds Go

This is a strictly transparent and very focused campaign. There are no stretch goals, addons or collectables to inflate costs and delay fulfillment. Any funds raised beyond our goal will go directly towards developing future supplements and adventures. By backing us you would not only be helping finish this book but helping us launch future books.

To ensure smooth risk free delivery of the electronic copies we are utilising the DrivethruRPG platform. You will receive your early and final PDFs through the DriveThruRPG digital library.

Rewards

Backers of the operative tier or higher will receive the text PDF as soon as funds are processed, and your final PDF once the artwork is added and completed.

For Corporate Sponsors you will be contacted to name an Operative, Team or Corporation that will be used in splat sections of the rulebook. These can include setting appropriate news bulletins, excerpts from articles, fact sheets, advertisements etc. within which your named entity will be prominent.

Conglomerate tier backers will be contacted so that your likeness can be used in an illustration. The character Persona pages will require illustrations that represent operatives who personify that persona. Each Armour Line requires an illustration modelling the lines armour. The opportunity is to have your likeness for the character that is in the illustration for one of those.
