ARCANA OF LIGHT & BEING Tarot-Oracle

Arcana of Light & Being is a hybrid Tarot-Oracle deck created as a map of inner evolution.

The Major Arcana holds the larger archetypal movements of the path, the inner thresholds consciousness passes through as it matures, clarifies, and returns to what is real. The Chakra Arcana brings that same journey into the body and daily life through seven chakra-based suits, each moving through seven stages of unfolding.

Together, they create both the sky and the earth: the higher themes, and the lived terrain.

This deck was created for reflection, self-inquiry, and transformation. Each card acts as a mirror, helping you recognize what is true, what is moving beneath the surface, and what is ready to unfold into a deeper level of being.

What Makes This Deck Different

A Hybrid Tarot-Oracle Structure

This deck brings together the archetypal depth of Tarot with the direct, lived language of an Oracle deck. It has a strong inner structure while remaining intuitive and accessible.

A Chakra-Based Minor Arcana

Instead of a traditional Minor Arcana, the deck moves through seven energetic centers, each expressed through seven stages of unfolding, from first activation to full embodiment.

Original Photographic Imagery

The imagery is based on my own dreamy, cinematic in-camera photography techniques, including Intentional Camera Movement, and shooting through glass and water. This approach softens the edges of ordinary seeing and invites feeling to come first, allowing meaning to rise more naturally from within.

What's Included

Each first-edition deck includes:

• A 71-card deck
• A companion booklet
• A premium magnetic box
• Original imagery and writing by Maz Mahjoobi

The deck and booklet are designed to work together as both an intuitive tool and a contemplative companion.

A Closer Look at the Structure

The deck has two interwoven sections:

The Major Arcana

The Major Arcana are a map of consciousness rooted in the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot, reimagined through the lens of inner evolution. They describe the larger inner movements the soul passes through as it releases contraction and returns to what is real, from trust and intuition to shadow, awakening, and liberation.

The Chakra Arcana

The Chakra Arcana shows how consciousness expresses itself through lived experience. Each chakra represents a field of human life, from grounding and embodiment to perception, surrender, and oneness.

Each chakra suit follows the same universal pattern of unfolding:

• 1. Awakening: The first stirring or activation of the chakra.
• 2. Challenge: The distortion or block commonly found at the chakra.
• 3. Flow: Opening, movement, and positive expression of the chakra.
• 4. Lesson: The deep teaching or test of the chakra.
• 5. Healing: Integration, acceptance, and correction of imbalance in the chakra.
• 6. Expansion: Higher expression of the chakra.
• 7. Mastery: Full, awakened embodiment of the chakra’s potential.

Together, these two sections create a deck that is symbolic, intuitive, psychologically resonant, and deeply practical.

The Chakra Arcana

The Chakra Arcana traces how the path of awakening is lived in the body, heart, mind, and daily life. Here, the chakras are approached not just as concepts, but as fields of experience. Each suit contains seven cards, and the images below show four sample cards from each one.

The Major Arcana

The Major Arcana unfolds as a single living journey.

It begins with Trust, the willingness to step into life without needing certainty first. From there, the path moves through manifestation, intuition, feminine and masculine balance, wisdom, reflection, confidence, gentleness, awareness, rhythm, acceptance, transformation, shadow, clarity, grace, gratitude, awakening, and finally Liberation.

These cards speak in archetypes because archetypes live beneath personality. They reveal the inner patterns that repeat in every human life, regardless of outer storyline.

Approached slowly and sincerely, the Major Arcana becomes a mirror in a dim room, helping what is already here become visible.

A Companion Booklet for Deeper Guidance

The included booklet expands the deck with reflections, interpretations, and guidance for every card.

It is written to support contemplation without overpowering intuition. The aim is not to replace your inner knowing, but to strengthen it, refine it, and help bring it forward.

Whether used for daily draws, journaling, meditation, or deeper readings, the booklet is designed to make the deck an ongoing companion rather than a one-time experience.

How This Deck Can Be Used

This deck is a mirror of what is present. It reflects what is alive in you now, what is moving beneath the surface, and what is ready to come into awareness.

It can be used for:

• daily reflection
• meditation
• journaling
• transitions and threshold moments
• deeper readings around emotional, spiritual, and life themes

A single card is often enough. More cards can add more information, but depth comes from presence, not quantity.

The cards do not arrive as commands. They arrive as light.

Why I Created This Deck

This deck came through during a crucial and transformative time in my life.

Over the past year, life moved me through experiences that opened my heart and reshaped my sense of reality. What began as challenge became a doorway. What felt confusing at times became a deeper kind of clarity. There were moments of surrender, tenderness, and direct inner knowing that changed the way I understood the path.

I did not begin this project with a fully formed plan. The deck arrived card by card, through listening, intuition, and a process that often felt more received than invented. Much of its language and understanding seemed to come through me from a deeper source rather than from deliberate thought alone.

Over time, it became clear that this was not only a personal process. It was something meant to be shared.

My hope is that Arcana of Light & Being becomes a meaningful companion for others in their own reflection, healing, and awakening.
