The Adventure Books & Levels

Each adventure features 3 different levels of play to maximize usability and re-playability with the exception of Tides of Destiny.

The Tides of Destiny is an introductory adventure PDF that can be played at any level from 1 to 5.

What's inside an "Adventure Book" included in the Archvillain Encounter boxes?

"Adventure" in TTRPGs is a very broad term - we know!

It might mean anything from a well-thought-out multi-act encounter all the way to a multi-session campaign that lasts many levels and could take up to months or even years of play!

The Adventure Books within the Encounter Boxes of this campaign feature 50+ pages of content structured as such:

- A History section that describes the persona, lore and Background of the Archvillain.

- A Narrative Progression section filled with, plot seeds and a series of Adventure Hooks to get you going.

- A Lieutenants and Minions section where the surrounding enemies are described along with lore and background story of the commanders and lieutenants tied to the Archvillain.

- A Villain Lair section describing the architecture, the defensive measures, the regional effects in each of the Archvillain's lair

- A Running the Encounter section which describes the tactics of the enemy and the multi-phase cinematic battle ahead.

- A Villain Hoard Section, that's where you get all the loot - if you survive!

- A section containing all the necessary stat blocks needed to run everything above, including the Archvillain’s stat blocks across all 3 power levels.

These Encounter Boxes are perfect for plug-and-play use into existing story arcs or a catalyst for entirely new stories. If you want something more episodic that lasts across many sessions - we highly ecommend pairing several Encounter Boxes together with the Undying Accord Adventure Book.

What about the Foes & Legends PDFs?

These are different! Each character comes with a background story, along with motives, quirks, and personality traits that make them memorable roleplay encounters. Of course, each character entry also includes a stat block the GM can use to turn the character into a dangerous enemy for the party.
