Il s'agit d'un jeu de tuiles et de jetons opposant des gladiateurs à des chrétiens, destiné à deux joueurs ou plus, conçu à partir du moteur de micro-jeux générique « Countermoves ». Les chances sont contre les chrétiens ; vous devrez donc maîtriser l'art subtil de supplier qu'on vous épargne pour remporter la victoire. Ce jeu propose quelques mécanismes intéressants permettant le déplacement automatique de divers animaux. Les règles sont disponibles dans Countermoves, volume 1, numéro 2. Set out alone or with friends (1–4 players) and take on the role of one of the many available gladiators.

To rise in fame within the arena, you can take part in about twenty different shows.

At the start of each round, Venus intervenes, triggering a divine event that will influence the course of the game. The game includes over 20 Event Cards, each one capable of changing the fate of the gladiators.
