In the year 1700, a small village called Barangay Mapayapa is peaceful only by daylight.
As dapithapon settles over the village, doors are barred, lamps are lit, and every neighbor watches the road home. The elders speak of a warning carried through generations: when the full moon rises, the aswang walk among the living.
Somewhere in the gathering crowd, the Manananggal has arrived—along with the sharp cry of her Tiktik minion, misleading the village as it hunts for those left alone in the dark. But not every fearful face belongs to an innocent kapitbahay. The creatures have learned to hide well.
In Aswang x Dapithapon, every player takes on a secret role as either a kapitbahay defending the barangay or an aswang hunting within it. As sunset fades into night, accusations will fly, alliances will fracture, and each decision could save the village—or doom it.
The kapitbahay must uncover who among them is truly an aswang before it is too late. Choose carefully: one stake, one heart, and one chance to survive until morning.
Aswang x Dapithapon is a fast-paced game of deduction inspired by One Night Werewolf, for 3–8 players, with each session lasting around 10 minutes.
The core play box contains 10 cards, 10 tokens, 1 rulebook and a narrator app that gets you started with the game.
Each player receives a secret role: an Aswang card, representing a creature hiding among the villagers, or a Kapitbahay card, representing a neighbor trying to survive the night.
The table also includes a Vacated House—a home left vulnerable after dark—and the central Plaza cards, where the night’s clues, secrets, and shifting loyalties come together.
Every game unfolds in two fast, suspenseful phases:
Narration Phase — 2½ minutes
Follow the narrator’s instructions as night falls over the barangay. Each player secretly carries out their role, using their powers and learning what they can before dawn.
Discussion Phase — 5 minutes
The village comes together to piece together what happened. Use the information you have, question every story, defend yourself, and decide who deserves your trust before time runs out.
What happened during the night? Who is truly a kapitbahay, and who is hiding their aswang nature?
France Asejo and Zyb Lomanog brought every shadow and suspicious smile in Aswang x Dapithapon to life through incredible illustrations. Their artwork gives Barangay Mapayapa its atmosphere: beautiful at sunset, unsettling after dark, and full of details waiting to be discovered.
The game’s narrated night phase is voiced by Sir Stephen, whose performance guides players into the mystery before the accusations begin. His voice sets the mood for every tense night in the barangay.
Maraming salamat, France, Zyb, and Sir Stephen, for lending your talent and heart to this game.
The Gabunan sits at the top of aswang society, often acting as the "alpha" leaders or commanders of other groups. Unlike other creatures that make eerie noises before striking, gabunans hunt in complete silence without warning. Despite their terrifying power, they reportedly consume human flesh or prey on other powerful aswang only once or twice a year.

Who are we?
We are Dalluyon Studio—a fully remote team of Filipino creatives collaborating from around the world, united by a love for our culture, our stories, and the games we wish existed.
Our biggest dream is Batikan, a Filipino PC RPG set in precolonial Philippines. It is our passion project: a living world inspired by our heritage, built in the hours around our full-time jobs and funded through our own resources, community support, and crowdfunding.
Our first card game, Digmaan, showed us that this dream can reach people. Thanks to our backers, it was successfully funded—and, more importantly, it proved that there is an audience eager to explore Filipino-inspired worlds through play.
Now, with Aswang x Dapithapon, we are taking the next step.
This campaign is not separate from Batikan; it is part of the same growing universe. By bringing characters, creatures, art, and lore from our larger vision into a card game, we can invite more people into the world of Batikan today. Each game helps us expand that world, test ideas, learn what resonates with players, and build a stronger community around it.
Board games are an important path for our small studio. They allow us to make use of the creative assets and stories we are already developing, while creating a complete experience that players can hold, share, and enjoy with friends. The proceeds from this campaign, along with the structure and lessons we gain from fulfilling it, will help us improve our production, logistics, and decision-making as a studio—and continue supporting the development of Batikan.
We are not backed by a large publisher or working from a big office. We are building this one project at a time, across time zones, after work, with determination and the support of people who believe these stories deserve to be told.
By backing Aswang x Dapithapon, you are helping us do more than produce a card game. You are helping a Filipino independent studio grow, helping us bring precolonial Filipino-inspired stories to more tables and screens, and helping make Batikan possible.
We want to make the best board games we can—and, ultimately, the best PC RPG we can. This campaign is another meaningful step toward that future. Thank you for joining us on the journey.
