Juegorama Presents: AVGhost Second Edition
We have acquired the license from the original publisher to enhance and relaunch AVGhost: Second Edition, what we believe to be the ultimate horror board game. Our goal is not only to improve the experience but also to support the backers of the first edition who believed in this haunting adventure from the beginning.
AVGhost: Paranormal Investigation is an immersive cooperative horror game for 1 to 4 players, where you take on the role of a team of paranormal investigators. As members of a specialized agency, your mission is to uncover the truth behind supernatural and poltergeist activity.
You’ll be called upon by desperate individuals seeking help to rid their homes of malevolent spirits. AVGhost: Paranormal Investigation includes 15 cases and all stretch goals from the first edition, bringing even more content, tools, and terror to your paranormal journey.
What sets AVGhost apart is its chilling atmosphere: the game is designed to be played in complete darkness, enhancing the sense of fear and immersion. A dedicated digital app serves as your gateway to the unknown—providing eerie ambient music, spine-tingling sound effects, and ghostly voices, making every session a truly haunting experience.

Why Back Now?
- During the pledge manager you will have access to exclusive content that will not be available later in stores: the miniatures reward, the Grace expansion, and the new St. Michel Sanatorium expansion will be Gamefound exclusives and can only be obtained here; they will not reach retail in this format.
- There are real improvements compared to the first edition: thicker boards, optimized components, a new rulebook, and redesigned character boards. The box will be redesigned to integrate all the content into a definitive edition.
- We will include a new solo mode and a new expansion, revise the texts, and add professional voice acting in Spanish and English when placing objects to reinforce immersion.
- The miniatures will be a special edition: ghosts in translucent blue and investigators with a base and flashlight, all pre-assembled.
- First-edition backers who did not receive their reward from the previous publisher will receive the first edition from us at no cost. Those who already own the game will be able to access a specific upgrade pack.
- If you want the most complete, improved, and exclusive version of the project, this is the moment. After the campaign, many of these options simply will not be available.

What is AVGhost: Paranormal Investigation?
AVGhost is not just a board game—it's an immersive paranormal investigation experience that blends storytelling, technology, and suspense in true cinematic style.
Live the story through two thrilling phases:
Briefing Phase (Daytime)
Each game begins by opening the case file, which includes a folder full of documents, clippings, and statements. This is where you'll discover the client's initial report and uncover clues that will help you plan your investigation.
Did they hear voices in the bedroom? Then maybe it's time to place a microphone there...
You'll need to decide which gadgets to use and where to place them on the haunted location board. Once you're ready, set up the companion app: choose your investigators, assign their gear, and mark where it's being deployed.
When everything is set, turn off the lights, switch on your flashlights… and get ready.
Investigation Phase (Nighttime)
Now the real exploration begins. Move your characters across the board to check the devices you've placed and consult the app: if you hear a recording or the investigator narrating what they’re experiencing, you've found a clue!
If all you get is static, your setup wasn’t quite right—time to reconfigure and try again.
Throughout the game, you'll follow three investigation paths:
Initial clues gathered from your gear.
Numbered clues hidden in objects and locations, unlocking new areas and story pieces.
Random paranormal events, triggered by the app, that will surprise—and even frighten—you like scenes from a horror film.
Expansions & What’s Coming Next
Regarding the information about the expansions: there are two new cases, but they are played in campaign mode, divided into three parts (cases), and both expansions are Gamefound exclusives.
We’re also adding an exciting solo mode, where you play as the ghost, trying to expel the investigators from the house. This mode will include exclusive content to be revealed soon.
About the New App
The new version of the app will be compatible with both the first and second editions, but development has not yet begun. We need funding to make it a reality. Your support is essential.

Who is Juegorama?
It is a small Spanish publisher specialized in thematic board games and has licensed Gi Joe Deckbuilding by Renegade Games, Massive Darkness 2 by CMON, 20 Strong and Dragons of Etchinstone by Chip Theory Games, The Last Lighthouse by Button Shy, Middara by Succubus Publishing among others. In addition, we have also released our own games through crowdfunding, Microrama collection as well as a series of accessories such as premium sleeves “The Big Turtle” and high-quality neoprene mats.

Backers of the original edition will be able to purchase an upgrade pack that includes all the improved components from this new version. A second option will also include the brand-new exclusive translucent miniatures.
But there’s something even more important.
We know that many of you never received your copy of the First Edition due to serious issues with the previous publisher. Juegorama, the new Spanish company that has acquired the rights to AVGhost, wants to make things right.
If the Gamefound campaign is successfully funded we will send you the Avghost First Edition and/or the Grace expansion (if you added it in the original campaign pledge) for free.
We have verified that the game is manufactured: Avghost first edition core box + Grace expansion.
It is important to indicate that we will NOT send you the art book, nor the book to play without the app or other items from the previous campaign since it seems that they were not manufactured.
We’re not responsible for the past, but we believe in taking care of the community and moving forward with transparency, commitment, and respect. This is our way of showing that we’re here to do things differently.
Languages
AVGhost: Second Edition will be fully available in English and Spanish, including the printed components, all 15 cases to investigate, and the voiceovers and audio content in the companion app.
In addition, thanks to the enthusiasm of the community, several external collaborators (not affiliated with Juegorama) have volunteered to create fan-made translations in French, German, Polish, Hungarian, and Chinese.
These translations, once the cases have been reviewed, will be uploaded to the app for free.
The audio will only be available in English and Spanish; the fan-made language versions will include subtitles.
However, please note:
- Juegorama cannot guarantee the completion or the quality of these fan translations.
- These files will not be professionally proofread or printed, but the case information will be available to read within the app.
- If your participation in the campaign depends solely on the availability of one of these languages, we kindly advise you to consider this before backing.
We are extremely grateful to the community for their efforts, and we’ll support them however we can — but our responsibility extends only to the official English and Spanish versions.
