TACTICAL POSITIONING SYSTEM

Axion Forge emphasizes positional strategy, blending the depth and flexibility of card games with the spatial tactics of board games. 

Every card has its own Battle Map, creating unique palcement opportunities that can dramatically change its options. Where you play a card determines its abilities, range, potential targets, and more. 

Positioning isn’t just about putting your strongest cards in the right place; it’s about reading the battlefield, anticipating your opponent, and creating opportunities for your next move. 

Whereyou play your cards is just as important as the cards themselves!

SHARED POWER WITH HIGH RISKS & REWARDS

Axion Forge turns potential into power through a shared mechanic where certain actions shift the Axion meter toward you or your opponent.

As the meter rises, everyone grows stronger. But the more you empower yourself, the more Axions your opponent gets to spend on their turn. Every advantage comes with a catch: building your own army hands your enemies the tools to strike back harder.

Balance is everything. Push your luck too far, and existence Fractures, forcing greedy plays to face the consequences. Players must constantly weigh when to advance, when to pull back, and when to leave the danger to their rivals.

The question isn't whether you should seek more power; it's how much you are willing to risk to gain it!

INNOVATIVE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

A streamlined universal resource system gives you the freedom to use the cards you want and play them your way.

Resources aren't locked behind specific colors or categories. Mix and match any number of Factions and build your deck without artificial restrictions.

But resources are much more than just a way to pay for your other cards. Transform basic materials into rare currencies, or use the Axions your opponents give you to unlock a huge variety of powerful abilities and advanced effects.

Even your combat cards can double as a way to gain resources. The stronger the card, the more you gain. No more getting stuck with cards you can't play. 

Resource management can be as simple or complex as you want it to be!

Customize your deck using nearly ANY combination of cards from across a variety unique Factions, each with its own distinct theme and playstyle.

ABOUT THE ART

I want to be transparent about how Axion Forge is being made.

As a solo creator, I currently combine original graphic and design work with extensive manual editing of AI-assisted images. As a multimedia artist myself, I value the effort, skill, and creativity of human illustrators.

I handle the art direction, editing, composition, and integration myself. My long-term goal is to work with talented artists and create opportunities to collaborate on original human-made artwork as the project grows and financial resources allow.

But Axion Forge is much, much more than pretty pictures.

THE ROAD AHEAD

A massive amount of work has gone into creating this ambitious world in every aspect. Axion Forge is the result of thousands of hours of game design, development, writing, worldbuilding, art direction, graphic design, and playtesting — all done by one person.

That's one of the reasons your support matters. You're helping take something that has existed largely as an idea and a labor of love and turn it into something real: a universe people can play, collect, talk about, and eventually find on store shelves.

Axion Forge has already come a long way, but this is still just the beginning. There are more cards to create, more Factions to explore, more worlds to discover, more stories to tell, and ultimately, more players to reach.

My goal with this campaign is to build an audience around Axion Forge and show that there are people who want to see this become a real tabletop product. From there, I can begin putting the resources and funding in place to take the next steps of refining the game, creating the physical product, expanding the artwork and production, and ultimately bringing Axion Forge to players in the real world.

I've spent years building Axion Forge on my own.
