We’re redefining the classic playing card deck. It plays like some of the games you already know such as Go Fish, Crazy Eights, Rummy and Big Two but every card has a thought-provoking question (or dare) designed to spark real and deeper connection.

We’ve all been there: sitting at a loud pre-game, hanging out in a hostel lobby, or hosting a game night where the conversation just completely stalls out. You don't want to talk about the weather or what someone does for a living. You want to get to know them on a deeper level and what actually makes them tick.

Enter Barkards.

The name Barkards is a mashup of the word Cards and the Filipino word Barkada (bar-KAH-dah).

In Filipino culture, your barkada isn’t just a friend group—it’s your ride-or-die squad, your chosen family, and the people you share your best nights with. We created Barkards to do exactly that: to turn a room full of strangers into a barkada, or to test how well you actually know the one you already have.

We took the classic playing deck and gave it a whole new purpose: to kill boring conversations.  While the standard suits and numbers remain, every card features a carefully curated, high-stakes question (or dare!) designed to shake things up.

Play Barkards where you already play your regular cards: at picnic at the park, basking in the sun with friends by the pool, getting to know a new friend at a bar or the park bench.
