What is BOS?
BOS is a game that is far simpler to learn than any of the major trading card games, but also allows for skill expression and creative strategy creation.

Normal trading card games will have you gather a large number of cards, shuffle them up, and then take only the top 30 or so to get the cards you'll actually play with in the game. But in BOS, you have access to all of your cards at the same time, so you get to choose when you want to play your cards, not based on luck.

As soon as you're in the game, you'll realize how much your decisions matter. You can take the game very seriously and seek fiery competition, or you can relax with friends and enjoy attempting powerful combos and cheesy strategies!

What's it about?
BOS is a game that centers around you, a ruler of a nation, who commands three wizards in a battle against another ruler. Your wizards have the ability to use a magic ability, or call upon powerful monsters called summons. Summons are creatures that once existed in our world, but have died. Wizards can conjure up a copy of them from their afterlife and place them under your command. There are some summons that can be summoned by any wizard, while there are others that only specific wizards can summon.

While wizards are good at magic, YOU are far stronger. You have ten magic abilities at your disposal called spells, which you can cast at the cost of vim, the magic energy source of this world. You begin the game with one vim, and every turn, your vim doubles. The more you wait, the more spells you can cast. And finally, you have the ability to call upon the most powerful type of summon, called a boss. Boss monsters are typically your win condition, and will often seal your opponent's fate. That is, of course, they don't also summon theirs.

Depending on the color of your soul, you will have a different play style.

If your soul is red, you thrive in fiery aggression. The more aggressive you are, the stronger you become.

If your soul is yellow, you enjoy natural strength. With the highest strength summons, you can choose to be offensive or defensive on a dime.

If your soul is blue, you visualize icy perfection. You have the strongest spells, but you must play perfect to utilize them.

Souls are stubborn things, so you cannot mix colors. However, there are many ways to play each color. You could play a defensive red deck that sets up for a huge combo, or an aggressive blue deck to mix up your opponent. The way you play is entirely up to you!
