Hi friends! Welcome to our first project for FDM printers! 

But... why “Battlefield Operation IV”? Well, because a long time ago we did three other terrain projects, back when EnCobertura focused exclusively on painted terrain items for wargames. Currently, this brand is now fully in the digital market (for the time being...) and the time has come to put all our accumulated knowledge to use in designing terrain elements for 3D printers.

This project will offer a wide range of terrain solutions: hills, plateaus, rock formations, cliffs, rivers, paths, forests, trees... Every terrain element you can imagine will be included in this project, whenever possible. Some of them will be one-of-a-kind pieces, while others will be designed to be printed in parts and, if possible, will offer modular options to expand the assembly possibilities.

These models have been designed for 28–35 mm wargames, but can be scaled to suit your needs.  As these are generic terrain models, you can use them for any wargame: from fantasy medieval settings to science fiction battles, including historical periods such as the Second World War. With these STL files, we’ll be including tips and tricks to help you get the most out of these models.

Six groups of items make up the core set for the campaign. With these, you’ll have more than enough to create an incredible battlefield! But there are many more items you can unlock by completing additional objectives if we achieve a good result.

FILES DOWNLOAD

The files will be provided from our official website (www.encobertura.com). After the completion and payment of the campaign, the backers will receive a code associated with their e-mail that will allow to download the files pack from our server. You will receive full instructions when the time comes. 

• The files models for resin printers (add-ons models) will be offered in two options: pre-supported in Chitubox files andfully freestanding. 
• The files models for FDM printers (core set and stretch goals) will be provided freestanding; anyway, in the most cases, they will not need supports. If they do, you will have instructions in the files pack.

EnCobertura is a Spanish trademark dedicated to the elaboration of wargame terrains and sceneries. It was born in Casarabonela, Málaga, in April 2007.

Created by Carlos Avilés, this brand has been like a "One Man Army",  where the same guy makes the designs, creates the products, paints and  cleans, and writes all these words...

Times change, technology advances, and this brand begins its journey   through the 3D printing and digital designs sector. Starting from great experience with CAD design for laser cutting manufacturing, I am currently glad to be designing models for sci-fi and grimdark wargames.
