What is Sevens?

"Sevens!" is something of a swear word in the Xelox culture. They have a religious reverence for the number six. Xeloxians have six limbs with six fingers each. The number seven is an affront to that. "Sevens" explores Xeloxian culture (and has some cool minis and a few pages of new special abilities and some counters and two great campaigns.)

In 2019 we released the Starships miniatures and it was one of the most popular and successful products we've ever done. The booklet had interesting stuff in it and we had a countersheet to help balance out the counter mix that I don't want to say we got wrong but we could have done better in Second Edition. Oh, yes, and we also had some gorgeous starship minis.

Since that time, we've put out Dirtside which was a massive endeavor. I'm proud of it but it took a lot out of me. This next thing, "Sevens" is patterned after the "Starships". It will have a bunch of cool Xeloxian stuff in the book, a countersheet and some minis.

When I got the quote for the product I was unhappily surprised to find that the price of molds has gone up significantly. So I'm including only 4 minis in this game unless we reach our stretch. I had already commissioned the sculpts for all 7 minis so I'm going to need your help figuring out which among these models will make it into the final product. I'm going to do one big stretch goal at $20k to get all 7 models into the box. If we don't get enough funding to do all the minis, we'll put the other files up so you can print them yourselves.

Here are some screenshots of the work in progress. The content is done. We just need to clean up the layout. And by "We" I mean I need to hire somebody to do that stuff.  I'm great at tech a few hundred years in the future. It's just current technology that throws me for a loop.

Stretch Goals

$15K = Double the minis

At the $15,000 dollar mark, we'll be able to put twice as much plastic in every box. This is a second copy of the first four miniatures. It is not new sculpts. We're saving that for...

$20k = All Seven Sculpts

The base project includes 4 Xeloxian miniatures. When we get to our $20k stretch goal, we'll have minis for all seven sculpts. And yes, this means you'll get 14 minis total because the 10K goal doubled all the plastic!
