Black Rose Wars: Rebirth is a 1-6 player competitive fantasy game of deck building, strategy, and combat set in the hectic universe of Nova Aetas, in Italy. Each player is one of the powerful mages of the Black Rose Order, striving to become the new Great Magister and gain the mighty power of the Black Rose Artifact and the Forgotten Magic.

Each mage has six schools of magic at their disposal, each with its own strategy for defeating opponents and increasing their power. Mages battle each other in a modular arena of hexagonal Room tiles. They summon powerful creatures, cast destructive spells, or weave dark deceptions with their enchantments.

The strengths of the game are the character building with its unique skills and career choices, the Horologium-driven activation management system that makes the activation order fluid and dynamic; the Perilium, an advanced enemy management mechanism; and a crafting system for building equipment based on resources recovered during missions.

Nova Aetas Renaissance is the game that laid the groundwork for the entire fictional universe created by Ludus Magnus. A living and constantly evolving world where each game is a piece of a larger puzzle. Many characters evolve through the various games, gradually revealing their fates and deepening their stories.

In addition, both the core box and the Nova Aetas Renaissance expansions contain material to use many of the miniatures in your Rebirth games, such as new Magisters, Evocations, and Forgotten Spells!

"Black Rose Wars: Rebirth" represents a new challenge for the Ludus Magnus Studio creative team.

All concepts and artwork have been created with the aim of immersing players in the mysterious and magical world of Black Rose Wars.

Based on italian Renaissance, the fascinating mix of historical and fantasy elements is the key point of this setting. With Rebirth everything has been taken to an even higher level of spectacularity, with new artworks and renewed graphic layout that manages to make every single element of the game elegant, functional, and qualitatively superior.

To create this project our sculptors, Fernando Armentano and Tommaso Incecchi, out-did themselves, giving true life to the new models. Each miniature has been studied and developed to provide the best possible result for the final product.

The experience they acquired during the last few years gives us the confidence to say that you will have in your hands some of the best miniatures within the hobby industry. Down here you can see details in some of our models from other projects,  going from render to resin cast to final result (PVC).

Our sculptors work closely with the factory engineers to ensure that all miniatures match the highest possible standard within the market. We're now managing internally all 3D prototyping, this gives our sculptor the chance to experiment different solutions, immediately see results and areas of improvement, with an overall increase of the miniature quality.
