What is Blackleaf?

Blackleaf represents the classic 2nd edition of the most famous RPG ever published. While it brings back some of the more popular elements from the 1st edition that were originally omitted (like level titles), Blackleaf focuses on the 2e experience. 

The primary goals of Blackleaf are:

• Repackage and present the 2e rules to be user-friendly. Important information is summarized and placed all in the same place to eliminate page-flipping. We cleaned up inconsistent or ambiguous rules and made them more intuitive. 
• Compatible with 1e and 2e with little or no conversion.
• Easy to learn and teach, removing many barriers from those early editions that seemed confusing, overwhelming, or otherwise unwelcoming to those interested.

Fulfillment

Digital fulfillment will be completed via Kickstarter directly, or through DTRPG. No worries if you don't have an account; you don't need one! You'll get an email from DTRPG linking to your copy.

Physical books will be printed from DTRPG and their printer (Lightning Source) and mailed directly by them.

Risks

We have a philosophy of ensuring you get your stuff you paid for, and getting it quickly. Our past successful Kickstarters provide a great track record of fulfilling the rewards within weeks of the project funding. All three books are written and complete, so there is no risk of you not getting what you're paying for.

AI Policy
