Dirk Henn is a German board game designer known for creating strategic and family-friendly games. His most famous designs include Alhambra, which won the prestigious Spiel des Jahres award in 2003, as well as Wallenstein and Shogun. His games often combine clever mechanics, planning, and historical themes.

Bollywood Blockbuster puts you in the director's chair. Scout the casting stage for the right cast and avoid a miscast for your movie and shepherd your productions to premiere. Every film you produce competes directly against the films made by everyone else at the table — and where you choose to premiere it matters just as much as who's in it. Mumbai promises the biggest audiences and the richest rewards, but the competition there is fierce; Cannes is a safer bet, where even a modest production has a real shot at glory.

1.3 How to Play ''Bollywood Blockbuster''

• Engage a performer: pay the listed price to sign a star (or an amateur) from the casting stage and add them to your hand — one engagement per turn.
• Produce a film: choose a genre (Comedy, Action, Romance, or Drama), cast the right performers into each role from your hand, and total up the points. A star only scores when cast in a role that matches their card; cast them in the wrong role and they're a miscast, worth 0. Amateurs always score 1 point in any role, no risk of miscasting. Bonus on top can only be earned with a pure cast of each full casting without extras.
• Choose your premiere: the first time a genre is produced, you pick which of the five cities it premieres in — and that locks in the city for that genre for the rest of the game. Mumbai offers the highest scores but the steepest competition; Cannes is gentler but caps out lower. One of the five cities will end the game with no premieres at all.
• Movie making is an expansive business so you may run out of money so can take a loan( need cash fast?) Borrow against a film you've already premiered— every ₹1M borrowed knocks a point off that film's value, capped at ₹10M per film.
• Swap the casting stage: pay to clear the casting stage and refresh it with new candidates, as many times as you can afford.

The game ends once every player has produced their full slate of films. Add up your scores across all your productions — the most successful director in Bollywood wins.

Palace Quest is a cooperative adventure for 1–6 players by Emanuele Ornella( Pioneers) and Dirk Henn (Alhambra SDJ 2003). The Sultan has tasked your team with building his dream palace. 

1.7 How to Play ''Palace Quest''

Work together over 8 rounds to build the perfect Alhambra.

• Each round, a rotating master builder decides which 3 buildings the team may place.
• Pay for construction with gem cards, revealed one at a time — discard and redraw a bad one, but run out of cards as a team and you lose.
• Rounds 1–3 lay the basic framework. From round 4 on, each round must satisfy one of the Sultan's randomized wishes (wall length, building count, layout) — fail one and you pay its penalty.
• Pay a building's exact price and its value rises for the rest of the game; points = buildings of that type × current value.
• Cluster same-type buildings into neighborhoods to earn action tiles — extra cards, site rotations, gem-color swaps.

Fulfill every wish as a team and you win together. Randomized wishes and layouts mean no two games play the same.

1.9 Shipping & Fulfillment

Shipping is calculated by region and are charged  before the check out in the campaign. The shipment is limited to certain countries: Germany / EU, United Kingdom, Switzerland / Norway, North America (US/CA), Japan, China and South Korea. 

For US and CA tariffs are included and we ship by air with DHL Express.

For United Kingdom, Japan, China and South Korea tariffs and local taxes are not included. We also ship by air with DHL Express

Friendly Shipping

It means that all countries listed for friendly shipping  do not have to pay Customs duties and extra VAT. (VAT is included for De, EU, USA and Canada.

2. Terms and Conditions

By pledging for this product, you are accepting the following terms.

REFUND POLICY Because of the quick turnaround time for this project, we will only be able to provide a refund if requested within 7 days of the project ending. after that time we can only offer 80% refund of the backed sum.

DAMAGED OR INCOMPLETE PRODUCTS We understand that all backers want to receive their items in pristine condition; however, the realities of worldwide shipping can sometimes make this difficult. We guarantee that the products we ship will be complete and all internal components both functional and meeting our tolerances for acceptable products. We will do our best to ensure that your package arrives in good condition, but all decisions on box replacements will be made on a case by case basis. Due to the difficulty and expense in replacing boxes, depending on your region, we will not be able to replace some boxes with cosmetic damage only.

RETURNED PRODUCTS If you refuse to accept your package on arrival we will not issue you a refund for the cost of the pledge.

FAILURE TO RESPOND TO SURVEY  While we will post updates and send out reminders, it is the the responsibility of the customer to complete the survey in a timely manner, and to make sure the address is correct at the time of fulfillment. Queen Games will not be obligated to either provide a refund or send out any product if the survey is not completed before fulfillment starts.

REPORTING DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS Backers have 7 days from the delivery date to report damaged or missing items, and 90 days from the announced end of fulfillment to contact us if they did not receive their pledge. Queen Games will not be obligated to either provide a refund or send out any product if we are not contacted by the end of this period.

REASONABLE CHANGES TO PRODUCT By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the name, final look, and materials of the project are subject to change and may differ from what is presented while the Kickstarter campaign was active. Queen Games will make all reasonable efforts to make the final product congruent with what is presented in the campaign, and to inform backers of the reasons for necessary changes.
