🌸 The Story: A Path Through the Garden of Grief

My name is Candra, and my story begins in the backwoods of Arkansas, a country girl raised on red dirt roads, creek water, wildflowers, and the kind of quiet that teaches you to listen to the land.

In 2009, my dad died suddenly of a massive heart attack. I was young, and everything I knew about safety and family shifted overnight.

My big brother stepped in. He became my protector, my best friend, my hero, the person who made the world feel steady again.

Then in 2015, tragedy struck again. A car accident took my brother, the person who had become my anchor after losing our dad. Losing him felt like losing my father all over again. It shattered me in ways I didn’t know a heart could break.

At the same time, I was a stay-at-home mom of three sons, married for 19 years. I wasn’t allowed to work. I had no job history, no income of my own, and no sense of who I was outside motherhood.

After my divorce, I had nothing, no money, no work experience, and no roadmap. Just grief, responsibility, and a blank page.

So I turned inward.

I meditated. I researched herbs and ancient healing practices. And I wrote poetry under the name Candy81, pouring my grief into words you can still find online today.

Herbs became my teachers. Ritual became my medicine. And creativity became my lifeline.

I started designing tarot and oracle decks at home, printing them myself, cutting every card, even hand‑building the boxes. But a home setup can only go so far. I dreamed of creating something beautiful, professional, and worthy of the rituals that saved me.

In 2018, I moved to Idaho after getting married again. The mountains gave me space to breathe, to grieve, and to grow into someone new.

The Botanical Ritual Oracle grew from that journey, a bridge between the girl I was in Arkansas, the woman I became in Idaho, and the soul I’m still becoming.

🌿 What This Deck Offers

A Living Apothecary

The Botanical Rituals Oracle is a 44‑card ritual system. Each card acting as a botanical ally. Where most decks give you a message, this one gives you a practice: something to do with your hands, your breath, your space, your heart.

These rituals are simple, grounding, and deeply human. They were born from the moments I needed something to hold onto a breath, a reminder, a way to keep going.

Healing Rituals, Reimagined

During my own healing journey, I discovered herbal practices from many cultures small, meaningful rituals people have used for centuries to soothe the heart, calm the mind, and reconnect with the earth.

Some of the practices woven into this deck include:

  • the protective comfort of Rowan
  • the cleansing clarity of Hyssop
  • the purifying warmth of Tulsi
  • the rejuvenating nourishment of Goji
  • the gentle blessing of Hawthorn

Each ritual is paired with symbolism, guidance, and a soft invitation to reconnect with your own inner healing.

These cards aren’t spells or magic they are grounding practices for real people living real lives.

The Guidebook

A 120+ page companion filled with:

  • original poetry (including pieces from my Candy81 era)
  • ritual instructions
  • emotional and spiritual interpretations
  • cultural and botanical history
  • step‑by‑step practices

It is both a reference and a refuge a place to return to when you need clarity, comfort, or a moment of stillness.
