CAIN SUN - a Mothership scenario

Experience Mothership in a different way: you play as the aliens, not the humans. On the unexplored planet, Cain 615, the fatally curious Dr. Abelsson has wandered off alone to investigate an alien egg-sac.Players take on the roles of parasitic alien worms competing for control of his body, each with their own agendas and goals. They’ll need navigate the delicate social dynamics of Dr. Abelsson’s crewmates while exploring the ruins of an alien necropolis.

Pledge levels

Every reward tier includes all the content from the previous tier. Digital versions included with every physical product:

• Digital Version (€8): A full-colour PDF of CAIN SUN, plus a printer-friendly version.
• Print Version (€10): CAIN SUN, full colour, printed on an expanded A5 trifold.
• Bundle of Cain (€24): Two new modules expanding the CAIN SUN story: CORPOCIDE and ORGANS, and a sheet of stickers.
• Cryosleep Bundle (€42): Includes two earlier modules, CRYO-SIQ and AURORA with a 10% discount off retail price.
• Mega Bundle (€60): Everything I’ve created (except Decagone), available together at a 20% discount off retail price.

Features

Parasite mechanic: A new system where multiple alien players compete to control a single, fragile human puppet.
Bundle of Cain: Two extra modules that expand the story behind planet Cain 615 into a trilogy, and an A5 sheet of stickers:

Fulfilment

Digital rewards will be delivered through itch.io.

Shipping costs will be collected after the campaign via Kickstarter’s pledge manager once the product is ready to ship.

Physical rewards will be shipped from the Netherlands using PostNL, packed in reinforced envelopes. To keep costs as low as possible, these packages will be sent untracked.
