Last year we were absolutely DYING to bring this gaming holy grail back for more people to enjoy. With over 6,000 Kickstarter backers and an 8.2 on BGG, we want to keep our campers happy! We’re launching another project with the first new content for Camp Grizzly in over a decade! 

Inspired by direct to video sequels and the stories that would spread after the events of Camp Grizzly we are proud to present our newest project Camp Grizzly: S'more Gore! Get ready to return to camp with more counselors, more campers, more items, more weapons, more cameos, and, of course...more Otis! 

Zombies? New counselors? A playable dog? Yes, yes, and YES! With the help of the original designers, we're bringing fresh characters, deadly new challenges, and exciting new ways to play with two all-new expansions!

NIGHT OF THE GRISLY DEAD

Some campers just don't know when to stay dead.

Otis isn't the only thing you need to worry about at Camp Grizzly anymore!

Night of the Grisly Dead introduces five new playable counselors, new characters, weapons, items, and Survival cards, plus an entirely new way to experience the horror: ZOMBIE MODE!

With the full Zombie Mode setup, the undead are guaranteed to invade camp. They'll hunt, they'll bite, and you might just find yourself joining their ranks!

Prefer your zombies as an unexpected surprise? Play without the full Zombie Mode setup, and the Night of the Grisly Dead Environment card can still unleash the undead. The higher the Body Count, the more zombies may appear!

And when Sheriff Bloom arrives to investigate all the screaming, will Tracy's father save the day ... or become another addition to the Body Count?

THE CLEARING

Bad boys can't beat good boys.

There's something strange lurking beyond the south woods of Camp Grizzly, and the counselors are about to discover that some places are better left unexplored.

The Clearing introduces three new playable counselors, including Barkley, an adorable golden retriever who can fight without a weapon!

Explore new encounters, weapons, items, and Survival cards while preparing for four new finale locations, including Home, The Cave, and Dump Site. The fourth? Well, some secrets are better left buried.

These new finales offer a different challenge: collect all five objective types and coordinate your counselors along the Nature Trails to reach the final showdown.

You'll also meet Mandy Morris, wife of Head Counselor Morris, whose visits to the boys' cabins have sparked a few rumors around camp.

Both expansions require Camp Grizzly Second Edition to play. Miniatures are optional.

How to play

Camp Grizzly is a semi-cooperative survival horror game for 1–6 players. Take the role of a camp counselor hunted by Otis. Explore camp, find weapons and items, protect campers, and collect objectives to trigger a Finale. Reaching the Finale is only the beginning ... you still have to survive it.

Night of the Grisly Dead adds zombie danger and a full Zombie Mode setup. The Clearing adds four Finale locations that require all five objective types: Keys, Gas, Wrench, Rope, and Battery. Counselors can coordinate from cabins connected to Nature Trails rather than gathering together in one location.

With a new camping session around the corner, we wanted to improve the facilities! We will be offering a set of 40mm scale miniatures featuring your favorite camp counselors, and Otis himself. There could even be an opportunity to unlock some other amazing improvements.

18 standard cards, 5 counselor cards, 6 pawns, 12 Zombie tokens, and 6 Bite tokens.

The Clearing
18 standard cards, 3 counselor cards, 4 pawns, and 4 Finale cards.

These are the two new expansions included in the expansion pledge tiers. Missing Pieces and Tricks and Treats are additional expansion content offered through the stretch goals below.

Meet the new counselors

Night of the Grisly Dead
The Legend uses Quarter tokens to take an extra turn. Baby Bernard can adjust non-combat rolls in his location. Wanda can use other counselors’ abilities. Austin can hide a bad plot twist, but must balance that ability with combat. Heather has opportunities to draw Survival cards when the Body Count rises or an Environment enters play.

The Clearing
Barkley can fight without a weapon and gets better rolls while caring for campers. Claire starts with her baseball bat and knows how to use it. Goldy has keys she cannot lose, can swap items with counselors anywhere, and can inspect objective tokens during setup.

The miniature collection

Upgrade your table with 58 miniatures at 40mm scale, representing Camp Grizzly counselors, cameos, and Otis’s family. 

Miniatures are optional for gameplay. Zombies and campers are represented by tokens. Additional Missing Pieces miniatures and Mr Z are separate stretch goals; the color upgrades are also unlocked separately.

Shipping

Estimated delivery is December 2027. Shipping charges will be collected through the pledge manager, where we will also confirm your shipping address. Please respond promptly when the pledge manager opens to help us fulfill your rewards.

Communication

We know communication is important for a Kickstarter. So we want to be upfront about what to expect regarding communication throughout the funding period and beyond. Communication regarding the Kickstarter can be assumed to occur during normal business hours on weekdays. 

During the funding period

We will issue updates after major milestones are reached. We will try to answer questions related to the campaign in the comments. Also, while we appreciate enthusiasm for things like masks, action figures, and other games, this isn't the best place to ask for release dates or other information on those products.

After the funding period closes

Expect 1 update during each month, whether there is something meaningful to report or not, just so you know things are still moving forward. We will try not to issue more than 1 per month so that we don't crowd your inbox. If there are questions about the campaign after the funding period, please use the messaging function on Kickstarter, as we will not be monitoring comments at that point. We will contact you when the pledge manager opens, where we will also collect shipping charges and confirm your shipping address. Please respond to these contacts promptly if you want your reward and other items fulfilled. After primary fulfillment is complete, we will send a "project complete" update, stop monitoring communication on this Kickstarter, and direct people to use our normal customer service lines.
