Cat Saga is a cooperative, story-driven game, where you explore the world together over the course of five Sagas. As a team you will make decisions that impact the story, engage in combat and use your abilities to overcome danger. You will create a wonderful Saga together, try epic actions, get in fights, find valueble items, and level up!

Create Your Catventurer

Before playing your first Saga, you must create your Catventurer.
Give your cat a name and choose its attributes from the Catalog, which contains all available options. Each player will select a Personality, a History, and a Specialty.

Who Is This For?

Who Is This For? 

We really hope to bring new players into the hobby with this accesible and flexible game. The blend of RPG and board game mechanics makes the game enjoyable for anyone interested in one of those genres of games. 

Who Is This Not For? 

Of course, a game cannot be for everyone. Gamers who enjoy heavy and complex games might not enjoy the lighthearted gameplay. Combat is simplified and not the focus of the game. There is, of course, conflict in the campaign but deliberately no horror or any detailed cruelty. If you enjoy a darker theme, this might not be for you.

Reward Tiers

Any pledge will truely help us bring this game to life and we really appreciate any support for the project. The Rulebook and Catalog are the basics you need to create a story on your own. The campaign pledge will give you a story to play through. And the two expansions add more player options for your Catventurer. Or perhaps you want to fully customize your cat and have unique artwork! 

Tangled Tails Campaign

The campaign will come with seven Saga Chapters. In one complete playthrough you will not see all Sagas and in any Saga you will only explore a part of it. The campaign will immerse you into the world of Cat Saga and the beautiful town of Leafstone. Make decisions together to forge your own destiny!

Print & Play

The complete game can be easily printed at home or played digitally. No crafting is needed only full pages will be used. From the printer straight to your table!

Playing digital at home is also very easy. Instead of printing, open the files on your tablet open an app to replace the dice and get started! We also did a lo6 of online testing in a "play by post" format on RoleGate. It showed us the game is also great to play long-distance and in any timezone. 

Stretchgoals

We will reward every 1k backed with more content. As the campaign grows, so will the game. Together we will expand the world of Cat Saga and add more player options to build your own Catventurer.

Add-Ons

Previously released games from Rolling Rhino Games and RAWR! Games can be added to your cart as add-ons. As well as some of the content from the pledge tiers whic you might prefer to receive seperately. All of the add-ons are print and play.

Timeline

Cat Saga is by far our biggest project. We have worked over two years to get the project from a functional prototype to a fully illustrated game, ready for kickstarter. We expect to deliver the game in the summer of 2026. Excluding some of the stretchgoals that might require more work. Thanks to the print and play format we will be able to share the game quickly once it is completely finished.
