Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Welcome to this eight-day Kickstarter for festive greetings card games! As usual, this is no-frills, super short campaign, and all shipping is included. Whatever you back will be posted by 1 December, so backers in the UK will receive their cards to use this Christmas.

There are two different cards, from different designers. One involves ferrets, and the other fingers. Both are wonderfully festive. Scroll down to find out more!

Festive Ferret 'n' Find!

Do you like scavenger hunts? Do you celebrate Christmas? Do you wish you had more ferrets in your life? If the answer to those three questions is "yes", then you are in luck — you can now send Christmas cards which are actually a game about ferrets!

Ferret 'n' Find is all about being the first to find festive things around the house. Grab a pen and go off in search of a Christmas smell, two different types of wrapping paper, or melted chocolate.

Or maybe you'd prefer to look for an accurate picture of a mallard? Or the musical note C?

Beware, for these things may be harder than they seem, and everyone else is also racing to fill their own lists...

The card is A5, printed on a 300gsm card, and comes with a colourful envelope. It's an excellently silly game, designed by Ollie Upton and printed in the UK.

Festive Ferret 'n' Find at Christmas is available for £3 per card, or as a pack of five for £12.

Twistmas

Who used to play Twister during the holidays? Hands up! Or rather, hands down on the card —  because this festive greetings card is based on the classic falling over contest! The twist here is that it's only for hands. Roll the dice, move your fingers, and get your fingers in a festive fumbles!

This Christmas card is a riot of colour, with the classic columns of red, yellow, green, and blue. Just like its full-size inspiration, Twistmas is won by being the last player on the board. In this case, that means being the last player to have your fingers on the card.

Roll the dice, shout out the result ("ring finger on blue!"), and try not to get cramp as you contort your hand around everyone else's digits. It's a fiddly fumble of a game which takes very little explanation.

The card is A5, printed on a 300gsm card, and comes with a colourful envelope. Like the ferrets, it's an extremely silly game. This one is designed by Jessica Metheringham of Dissent Games. It's also printed in the UK.

Twistmas is available for £3 per card, or as a pack of five for £12.

What People Say

We don’t actually have any reviews for these cards (we only finished drawing them a few days ago!) but here are some for previous cards by Jess.

Shipping Costs

If you're in the UK, then shipping costs £3, no matter what you buy. That's because postage is the same for a large letter, and almost all of these parcels will be comfortably under this. I'm charging £3 because I think that's fair with the cost of Royal Mail postage, plus boxes, plus tape, plus trying to offset the Kickstarter fee a bit.

If you are outside of the UK, then I'm afraid shipping prices are much higher. Each item is different, and it costs £20 for the Big Box to be posted abroad. That's because it really does cost that much, and I'm not making any profit on shipping. However, the way that I have created individual shipping prices for the add-ons is a bit of a blunt instrument, so if you feel that you have been particularly stung by shipping, drop me a message and I'll take a look at what the parcel would weigh.

Shipping is charged as part of the Kickstarter, rather than afterwards. -This means that you’ll know exactly what you pay! That does also mean that there is no pledge manager. If you miss the Kickstarter then you'll need to wait until after I have fulfilled all my backers — and it's possible that I may not have any left then.

Shipping Times

I am very confident that any backers in the UK will get their rewards in the first week of December (see time frame below).

Everything will be with UK backers in time for you to send to friends and relations THIS Christmas. Here's the time frame, with time built in for possible delays.

17 November: Kickstarter closes

18 November: final tweaks to print files for both cards if needed

18 November: email/message backers asking for addresses sent (no pledge manager)

19 November: print files sent off to printer

19 November: get spreadsheet in order for inputting into Royal Mail website

22 November: PDF files put on website and link sent to PDF backers

26 November: physical copies of the cards delivered to me

27 November: start putting rewards in parcels

28-30 November: parcels posted

2 December: first parcels start arriving

Yes, it is tight. But it's achievable.

Backers in the UK should have their rewards on 2/3/4 December, and DEFINITELY by 6 December. So if you are giving these cards to your child's teachers at school, or co-workers, or friends else where in the UK, then that gives you enough time. The last posting day for Christmas in the UK is likely to be 21 December.

I will happily send parcels outside of the UK — but be aware that they may take a couple of weeks to arrive, which is fine for stocking fillers but less great for greetings cards. However, you could still get the PDF of the Christmas card and print your own. This Kickstarter gives backers permission to print all the greetings cards design at a printer local to them and use those cards for their own personal greetings cards. And, of course, you could use the cards next year...

About the designers

I'm Jessica Metheringham, and I live in Reading, in the UK. The game design, art, and rules layout has all been done by me. I've been designing games and puzzles on greeting cards since 2021. Larger games include Loose In The Library (2025), Library Labyrinth (2023) and Disarm the Base (2019).

This year I'm joined by Ollie Upton and his festive ferrets.
