Chronicles of Myth

We are Black Mack Studios and we are launching our debut game, Chronicles of Myth. Despite our small size, we are launching a massive tabletop roleplaying game, complete with a unique setting and rules.

Chronicles of Myth is a tabletop roleplaying game where you bond, adventure and fight alongside magical creatures which are inspired by the myths of antiquity.

You play as an Archivist, one gifted with the ability to bond with Chronikin. This allows you to utilize your chosen partners' strengths and abilities to navigate the world, solve problems and defeat foes. There are two ways to play, one which focuses on story-driven adventure facilitated by a Game Master and one which pits players against each other in isolated war-game inspired arenas.

The idea for Chronicles of Myth was born out of a shared passion between the two founders of Black Mack Studios. Both have a long history and love for tabletop games as well as creature collecting and battling games. When all of this was paired with an interest in ancient history, Chronicles of Myth came to be.

Chronicles of Myth has been in development for 6 years. All 240 Chronikin have been created as well as all prototype game material. The core system is written and in the editing and formatting process. What remains is accruing assets and finalized art, as well as fine-tuning through extensive playtesting. We aim to release a fully fledged product with professional presentation. No corners will be cut.

Much of our budget revolves around finding and paying artists for works that we feel are representative of the quality we hope to achieve and that properly immerse players into the world of Chronicles of Myth. We will also enlist several editors to ensure quality prints and readability. We've been able to cut costs by doing much of the work internally, with the Black Mack Studios team laying down the needed foundation over the past 6 years. We promise our Backers that what they pledge will go towards ensuring excellence in both presentation and scope.

Our goal is to provide to tabletop roleplaying players a game that we ourselves love to play. To provide fun and entertainment in a way that only this medium can. We want to share with you our passion, our game and ultimately the legendary experience that is Chronicles of Myth.
