Multi-Phased town/city (battle)maps
During this project I will be creating 15 local and detailed maps of locations adventurers might explore. Each map comes with a twist: every location has a second phase. A changed version of the same place. Maybe it’s the aftermath of a fight. Maybe the truth revealed once illusions fade. Maybe it is simply the passage of time. Each secondary map will be familiar, yet different.
What exactly happened between moments? That is up to you to decide!
Examples of locations you and your party will be visiting are:
- Catacombs
- City streets
- An underground boxing ring
- The throne room
- The witch's hut
- The local book store
- The alchemist store
- The tinkerers workshop
- And more!
Rewards
By backing this project you will receive the following rewards:
- 15 Digital battle-maps with a secondary phase (30 maps in total)
- You will receive 4K-resolution battle-maps (gridded)
- You will receive VTT-compatible versions of all maps (non-gridded)
Why did I create this project?
This project is a way for me to get my ideas out of my head and onto paper. Making these maps help me to spark my own imagination (and hopefully yours as well!). Over the years I have learned that the theater of the mind is one thing, but seeing locations with my actual eyes usually gives a whole lot more! In short: This project is a passion project and a creative outlet at the same time. This year I decided I'd love to share it with the world!

Who am I?
I am a long-time TTRPG player and have played as both a DM and a player in many different worlds and settings (e.g., D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Imperium Maledictum, etc.). I love building worlds with intricate story-lines, even though usually only a sliver of the story comes to light during a campaign. I create maps not just for visualization, but as an aid for players to implement ideas, strategies, or chaos. Over the years, I have learned that there is great value in seeing active changes in your D&D scenery during… well… whatever the party is up to this time.
