Welcome to the Dungeoneers Guild Games Kickstarter for our newest DUNGEON DELVE modules: DDS5 Valley of the Stone Giant Clans and DDS6 Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord.

All DUNGEON DELVE adventures are designed for classic First Edition Advanced fantasy gaming. You can adapt DUNGEON DELVE modules for a variety of fantasy role-playing games, including the Advanced Second Edition, the Original Edition, the B/X or BECMI (“Basic”) Editions, old-school renaissance (OSR) role-playing systems, and most other FRPG systems. Every DGG product is designed to evoke the look and feel of classic Advanced Dungeons & Dragons modules from the 1980s. Plots are minimal, settings are adaptable, and each adventure fits seamlessly into any campaign world.

Both modules are available in print and PDF. Print versions feature the classic format: a stapled booklet with a removable two-panel cardstock cover. The inside covers include maps printed in classic dungeon blue for an authentic old-school feel. As with all Dungeoneers Guild Games products, quality production, artwork, and printing are paramount.

About Dungeon Delve Modules

All our modules adhere to three core design principles:

  • First Edition Ethos: Faithful to the look, feel, and structure of classic First Edition modules. Fans will instantly recognize the familiar layout and old-school spirit.
  • Unobtrusive Plot: Strong narrative frameworks with memorable villains and rich settings, while leaving DMs free to adapt the story as they wish.
  • Sandbox Play: Flexible design and open-ended settings that put players and DMs in control. No forced hooks or fixed milestones—just tools, locations, and seeds to shape adventures your way.

Your support on Kickstarter helps Dungeoneers Guild Games continue to create authentic, classic-style adventures. Expect a blend of swords, sorcery, and high adventure—formidable monsters, fabulous treasures, and the timeless thrill of old-school dungeon delving.

GIANT-SIZED ADVENTURE

Giants—iconic oversized monsters from folklore and mythology—are among the most beloved fantasy RPG monsters. Battling giants is a highlight of any D&D adventure. Both DDS5 Valley of the Stone Giant Clans and DDS6 Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord aim to deliver exactly that on a massive scale. Like the classic Against the Giants series, each module is packed with giants for the party to battle. Nearly 100 stone giants inhabit the cavernous valley, while adventurers must tangle with over 50 cloud giants in their aerial stronghold. Once the action starts, it never lets up.

Valley of the Stone Giant Clans

For generations, the stone giant clans dwelt in the hidden valley of Flóndisheim, keeping largely to themselves while venturing forth only for occasional raids and limited trade. But as the surrounding realms of dwarves and humans expanded, the giants found themselves increasingly hemmed in. Fearing the loss of their lands, Sköll Foehammer of the Cave Bear Clan united the five major clans beneath his rule and led them into war against their dwarf and human neighbors.

In recent years, the giants have launched a ruthless campaign against the dwarven realms—shattering caravan routes, overrunning mountain holds, and seizing the high passes. Trade has collapsed, and entire clans have been driven from their ancient homes. Now the dwarven rulers secretly seek bold adventurers willing to ascend the perilous peaks and strike at the giants’ power at its source.

Valley of the Stone Giant Clans

An adventure for 6 to 9 characters of levels 8 to 12.

In DDS5 Valley of the Stone Giant Clans, the player characters must contend with the combined strength of five allied stone giant clans and their monstrous servitors. To break the giants’ hold over the mountain passes, the party must ascend into the hidden valley of Flóndisheim—a high, bowl-shaped stronghold ringed by sheer cliffs and riddled with cavern entrances.

Within this perilous valley, watchposts guard the narrow approach, and roving creatures and war bands stand ready to repel intruders. The adventurers must strike at the scattered cave systems while avoiding being overwhelmed, for the longer they linger, the more the giants rally their strength. To end the threat, the party must descend into the depths to confront the chieftains in their own domains. With luck and persistence, they may uncover the fabled Gem Garden, hidden deep within the lightless underworld.

This module poses a formidable challenge even for the hardiest mid- to high-level characters.

Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord

Storm clouds of destruction gather over the realm!

For more than a year, ruthless cloud giants have descended without warning—shattering towns, carrying off captives, and crushing all resistance beneath hurled boulders and lightning. No wall can bar them. No army can reach them. From their drifting fortress high above the world, they strike at will, then vanish into the clouds.

At last, their lord demands tribute in food and treasure. With their lands ravaged and coffers drained, the rulers comply… for now. In secret, they turn to a final gamble: a small band of powerful adventurers must ascend into the heavens, find the hidden Sky-Keep, and end the giants’ dominion.

Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord

An adventure module for 6 to 8 characters of levels 10 to 14.

DDS6 Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord is a high-level adventure for 6–8 characters at levels 10–14. The party must infiltrate a vast cloud-borne castle, face scores of giants and their monstrous servitors, and survive a fortress built to withstand an aerial assault. Winged horrors circle its towers, storm magic answers its master’s will, and a single misstep may prove fatal. This fully detailed stronghold contains deadly encounters, strange allies, and the plundered wealth of a ravaged kingdom. To prevail, the adventurers must overcome the cloud giants' might—and confront their dread lord in his lofty domain.

Other Dungeon Delve Titles

As a backer of this Kickstarter, you can purchase the thirteen previous Dungeoneers Guild Games modules by choosing either the Digital Bundle or the Print Bundle. Like the adventures in this campaign, these modules are ideal for players, GMs, and fans of classic First Edition Advanced fantasy role-playing.

DD1 Tower of the Black Sorcerers

Rumors in Bal-Curz whisper of a hidden cabal of sorcerers behind the town’s recent unrest. Those who pry too deeply vanish—or are found changed. The trail leads into dark places where foul magic is practiced, and things from the blackest pits are bound to serve. Only bold—and perhaps reckless—adventurers can uncover the truth… and survive it. An adventure for characters of levels 5–8.

DD2 Dungeons of the Dread Wyrm

Rumors speak of a dread wyrm’s lair hidden beneath a lonely crag in a desolate range of hills. For generations, the red dragon Felmurnuzza has terrorized the surrounding lands—yet none have seen her in decades. Many now believe the fell serpent is dead, her vast hoard unguarded and ripe for the taking. But those who descend into her deadly halls must contend with cunning traps, fearsome guardians, and the terrible chance that the dragon still lives. For characters of levels 10–15.

DD3 The Misty Halls of Kalávorka

High in the mountains lies a lost vale, once home to a mysterious clan of giants said to wield powers unknown to their kind. For decades, no word has come from that mist-shrouded fastness. Do they still dwell there—and what secrets remain? Those who seek the answer must contend with cunning giants, evil gnomes, and a strange guardian who watches over the hidden halls. For characters of levels 5–7.

DD4 Secret of the Silver Spire

A gleaming silver spire has appeared without warning, its smooth walls reflecting the sun like quicksilver. Bizarre creatures emerge from its shining surface, and sages whisper that it is a fortress that slips between dimensions. Within, strange beings and alien devices fill its many levels. Those who enter must contend with deadly guardians—and a living tower that defies understanding. What power has brought it here—and why? For characters of levels 3–7.

DD5 Mystery of the Wood of Dark Boughs

A wasting blight has struck the land, reducing crops and orchards to ash. In the village of Alfandi, fear has turned neighbor against neighbor, and eight men stand accused of witchcraft. As their execution nears, their families plead for aid. To prove their innocence, the adventurers must trace the blight's source into an enchanted forest and a fetid swamp, where loathsome frogmen dwell—and where the truth behind the affliction lies hidden. For characters of levels 2–4.

DD6 Lords of Shadow

Orclase Castle, long believed abandoned, stirs once more. Strange lights flicker across its walls, and brigands and monsters prowl the surrounding moors. Some whisper that its vanished lords have returned—and are no longer fully human. Within its crumbling halls, shadowed nobles and their servants gather dark power. Those who dare enter must face cunning foes, restless dead, and the rising evil within. For characters of levels 5–7.

DDS1 The Sacred Temple of Erwadu

The great ziggurat of Enki rises above the marshes of the river delta, its mud-brick walls concealing unknown secrets. Its gates open only rarely—if at all—and those who enter face deadly trials. Within its hallowed chambers lie rich treasures, guarded by terrible, ancient powers, cunning traps, and divine tests. Only the worthy will survive its halls and see the dawn again. For characters of levels 7–10.

DDS2 Labyrinth of the Dweller

Legends speak of the Gate of the Gods, a relic of immense power hidden deep within the Caverns of Azek-Vhool. Many have sought it—none have returned. Hill giants and their allies hold the upper caves, feeding captives to a dread master below. To reach the Gate, the adventurers must descend into a dark labyrinth where demons and the dead guard its secrets. For characters of levels 6–8.

DDS3 The Mystic Caverns of Enzirion

At the edge of the wilderness lies Lake Tschenda, a place of strange enchantments and whispered dread. All such tales point to a single source—the lightless Caverns of Enzirion, long sought by treasure-hunters. Strange magics infuse the very stone. Hostile monsters haunt the upper levels, while deeper dangers—and greater treasures—lie below, where powerful genies are said to rule and enslave the unwary. Many have ventured into these depths, but few have returned. For characters of levels 1–3.

DDS4 Dungeons of the Two Kings

Beneath the ruins of a forgotten city lie the Dungeons of Mal-Thenga, once the seat of power of a two-faced god. Now, rival forces of Law and Chaos wage a bitter struggle within its dark halls, each seeking dominion over the sprawling complex. Adventurers who descend into these depths must contend with warring factions, deadly traps, and the servants of a long-forsaken deity whose return may yet be at hand. Can your band of doughty adventurers survive what lies within? For characters of levels 3–6.

DDSQ1 Shipwreck at Har’s Point

The sleepy fishing hamlet of Har’s Point has been stirred by a shipwreck on the rocks offshore. Rumors of treasure abound, but stranger tales tell of dead sailors walking the beaches at night and of a mysterious stranger haunting the town. For characters of levels 1–3.

DDSQ2 The Lost Caravan

The annual caravan bound for Insarna Castle is weeks overdue. The castle's lords fear disaster and beg the adventurers to find it before it is too late. The fate of men and supplies lost in the wild expanse hangs in the balance. A wilderness and dungeon adventure for characters of levels 2–4.

DDSQ3 Night of the Demon-Dolls

Death stalks the streets of Gravoa. Under cover of night, unseen killers strike down the town’s elders and vanish without a trace. Whispers of black magic spread, but the truth is far more sinister. To stop the murders, the adventurers must follow a trail of clues through the town and beyond its bounds to a haunted villa—where a vengeful magician and his murderous creations await. For characters of levels 2–4.

About the Project Designer

DDS5 Valley of the Stone Giant Clans and DDS6 Sky-Keep of the Cloud Giant Lord are the latest entries in our line of classic-style adventure modules.
