Coastal Confessions is a downloadable and printable murder mystery party for 10 players, created by Fatal Affairs.

Set against the backdrop of Cape Cod, the game brings together old money, buried secrets, complicated relationships, and one very deadly evening. Each guest receives their own character package with everything they need to step into the story, uncover secrets, follow clues, and figure out who can actually be trusted.

This is not a board game you sit around and watch unfold. Everyone at the party becomes part of the mystery.

What You’re Backing

We’re currently creating Coastal Confessions as the next Fatal Affairs murder mystery.

Your support helps us complete the writing, character development, clue structure, testing, design, and final downloadable package so we can make the experience as immersive and polished as possible.

Backers will receive Coastal Confessions before its public release.

What’s Included

The finished Coastal Confessions package will be designed for 10 players and include individual character packages, secrets, clues, host instructions, game materials, and everything you need to print the game at home and host your own murder mystery party.

We’ll also include hosting inspiration to help bring the evening together, including cocktail suggestions, hors d’oeuvre ideas, styling inspiration, and other party details.

No box and no waiting for a package to arrive. Once your files are delivered, you print, prepare, invite your guests, and host the affair.

Why Fatal Affairs

Fatal Affairs creates immersive murder mysteries designed specifically for adults who want the entire night to feel like an event.

Our first game, Count on Murder, was built around an 8 player murder mystery dinner party. Coastal Confessions takes a different direction with a more social, cocktail party style experience designed for 10 players.

Compared with many traditional murder mystery games, Fatal Affairs is intentionally less PG and more grown up. Our stories lean into scandal, affairs, messy relationships, darker secrets, suggestive humor, cocktails, and the kind of drama that is much more fun with an adult group.

These games are made for adults only.

We want the characters to be genuinely fun to play, the secrets to actually be juicy, and the clues to matter. The goal is to make the experience feel less like a squeaky clean party game and more like stepping into the middle of a scandal filled drama for the night.

Dress up, make cocktails, gather your favorite people, and spend the evening lying to each other.

Kickstarter gives us the opportunity to bring Coastal Confessions to life with an audience already waiting to play it.

Instead of quietly finishing the game and releasing it later, we’re inviting early backers into the launch. Your support gives us the time and resources to finish the mystery, test it properly, refine the materials, and create the full experience we have in mind.

Backers will receive special Kickstarter pricing and early access to Coastal Confessions before the public release. Some backers will even have the chance to become part of the finished game itself.

Delivery

Coastal Confessions is currently in development. We are estimating delivery by February 2027, but if the game is ready earlier, backers will receive it earlier.

The completed game will be delivered digitally as printable files.
