Color Roll Play: A GIANT Tabletop RPG Craft & Supplement
Par Mike Rieman
Statut actuel
Does this ever happen to you? You’ve been questing for months to slay Drumantoth the Blight Dragon. When you and your party finally destroy the beast and obtain the Mythical Shawl of Entombment, it’s just not the right color?
WELL now these magic items can be any color you want!
Color Roll-Play: a VERY LARGE game supplement and craft is a GIANT coloring sheet AND it’s also a table of Magic items for your ttrpg game!
This color sheet measures 27.5 in x 39.5 in, I know that's HUUUUGE! It's going to be printed on #80 paper so it'll be durable enough to take out and color whenever you're looking for some hands-on zen time. Below is an example of how GARGANTUAN it is.
Every item on here has a special ability noted on an extra handout with each HUMUNGOUS coloring sheet. You can roll on the item table when choosing random magic loot and color one each time it's claimed. Or just pass the afternoon away laying belly down on the floor, with your feet up in the air, inking some magical gear while listening to your favorite actual play podcast. Dang does THAT sounds lovely or what!?
What is this?
This is an ENORMOUS coloring sheet of magical items that ALSO happens to double as a supplement that you can use in your tabletop role playing game.
Color Roll-Play: a GIGANTIC game supplement and craft is also a perfect gift for adults and kids alike. You don't need any crafty bones in your body to like coloring!
How does it work?
I understand not everyone has used a MASSIVE ttrpg supplemental coloring sheet before, so here are some simple graphics to help:
Step 1: Gather Materials
*Markers* + * Coloring Sheet* + *Floor* + “Dice”
Step 2: Color the items WHATEVER COLOR YOU WANT!
Step 3: Marvel in the weird, quirky abilities of these magical items and roll on a table to use them in your campaigns!
Bonus: Also marvel in the time you took out of your day to do something for yourself. Good for you.
This is the most basic way you could use a Color Roll-Play supplement & craft. An alternative coloring technique is to use it as a random loot table for special occasions. When you roll and choose the corresponding item, the player gets to color their treasure themselves
Why Back?
You mean why support an independent designer and illustrator? Well you get a BIG ol’ awesome coloring sheet AND it’s a really nice thing to do! I’ve put a lot of thought and time making this a very fun supplement and ultimately a way to pull yourself from devices that consume our lives. Also you’d be supporting a real human who made a real thing and who is vehemently against the use of generative a.i. art. Here’s the big graphic that lets you know you are supporting the creation of thoughtful projects by a real person:

Print at Home Sample
Yes, you can just print it now and give this coloring sheet a go! It won’t have all the item descriptions, but you could guess as to what they do! If you find you just love coloring this adorable little sheet, imagine if it was bigger! Like a LOT BIGGER! Then just back it!

The Designer
Oh me? Since you asked, my name is Mike Rieman (ree-man) and I’m a designer, layout artist, and illustrator who does this to support my family and because I likes it so dang much. I’ve designed a few games of my own and have done layout work and illustrations on numerous other games. I’ve gotten really into coloring sheets when my 2 kiddos (2yr & 5yr) showed me these things. (Who knew they existed before now?!) If you want to see the latest of what I’m up to find me on Bluesky or at TwoPancakes.com!
