Présentation de la campagne
If you love abstract strategy games like Chess or Go, Conclave adds a twist neither has: your own position can be turned against you.
Conclave is a fast-paced, two-player abstract strategy game played on a 5x5 grid. Two players take turns placing and moving stackable pieces called Caps (60 total, 30 per player) around fixed control points called Anchors (20 total, 10 per player). The rules are simple enough to learn in about five minutes, but the depth is what keeps people coming back.
How to Play
- Take turns placing pieces. On your turn, place a Cap on any empty space on the board, or directly onto an Anchor that doesn't yet have a Cap on it.
- Or move instead of placing. Rather than placing a new Cap, you can move an existing one, following the game's stacking rules.
- Build and climb stacks. Caps can stack on each other. Whoever's Cap sits on top of a stack controls that space, and if the stack sits on an Anchor, that player controls the Anchor.
- The Flip, Conclave's signature move. If your Cap is at the bottom of a stack, you hold the majority of the Caps within that stack, and there is no Anchor inside that stack, you can flip the entire stack, instantly putting your piece on top. One move, and control changes hands.
- Win by control, lose it in a moment. Hold five or more Anchors and you're closing in on victory. That same grip can slip the instant an opponent pulls off a Flip, so a strong position is never actually a safe one.
Game length is 15 to 30 minutes. Built for 2 players, ages 12 and up.
