Story...

COVENANT: The Bible-Based Trading Card Game:
Where Scripture Meets Strategy.

What is Covenant?

Covenant is a biblical trading card game (TCG) that blends strategic gameplay and collectible serialized design. Built from the Bible, players summon Champions, perform Miracles, and engage in spiritual battles while reducing opponents' Covenant Points to zero. Every card references real verses, with rarity, power, and visual appeal woven in. Covenant combines the fun and strategy of trading card games with the rarity, collectability, and serialization mechanics found in the sports card hobby. Play the game as well as hunt for ultra rare, serialized cards numbered to 10 or less. There are even 1/1 grail parallel cards of already rare holographic cards.

The true goal of Covenant is to dive deep into the bible in a unique, clear, historical and gamified structure. We collect cards of athletes, fictitious characters, creatures and movie stars. The Bible was the greatest book ever written with real life people doing God's work in real time. Why would we not want a serialized one of one, black parallel of John the Baptist or The Garden of Eden. All illustrated by actual people who have worked on both Magic and Redemption.

What's In the Starter Deck?

- 40 Game Cards
- 1-Fold-Out Rule Guide
- 1 Covenant Point Tracker Card
Cards are separated by type: Champions, Miracles, Artifacts, Scriptures, and Locations.

Goal of the Game

The goal of Covenant is to reduce your opponent's Covenant Points (CP) from 40 to 0. You do this by strategically summoning Champions, triggering Miracles, and overpowering your opponent's team in battle. Most TCG games focus on power and strength for victories where Covenant has a design centered around defense and protection while still having offensive mechanics deeply embedded in the game.

Game Zones Overview

Each player has the following zones:
- Champion Zone (3 max)
- Artifact Zone (2 max)
- Scripture Zone (2 max)
- Location Zone (shared)
- Deck & Graveyard

Understanding Your Cards

Each card features:
- Name & Title
- Card Type (e.g. Giant, Prophet, Miracle)
- Stats: Strength, Faith, Wisdom, Divine Favor
- Bible Verse (KJV)
- Special Effect or Ability
- Rarity Icon and Border Color

*Card Example. Final artwork will be done by one of our well-known illustrators that have worked on both Magic and Redemption. No A.I. will be involved in card artwork or production.

Turn Structure

Each player follows these phases each turn:
1. Draw Phase - Draw 1 card
2. Summon Phase - Play a Champion and 1 Artifact/Scripture
3. Miracle Phase - Optionally play 1 Miracle card
4. Battle Phase - Attack using Champions
5. End Phase - Resolve effects and discard up to 6 cards

Deck Exhaustion

If a player is required to draw a card and their deck is empty, they must reshuffle their graveyard into their deck. This may only happen once per game. If their deck is empty again and they must draw, that player immediately loses the game.

Combat Rules

Combat is resolved by comparing Strength:
- Higher Strength wins, opponent's Champion is discarded
- Faith may counter effects
- Some Giants or Miracles bypass normal rules
- Divine Favor Dice Roll (1d6)s can enhance or reduce outcomes

Using Scriptures and Miracles

- Scriptures are ongoing effects (buffs or blessings)
- Miracles are one-time powerful plays (e.g., Plague of Frogs)
- Only 2 Scripture cards can be active per player
- Play 1 Miracle per turn during Miracle Phase

Divine Favor Dice Roll

Some cards require a Divine Favor Dice Roll (1d6) (1d6):
1-2: Effect fails
3-4: Partial success
5-6: Full success
Use this for random events, blessings, or supernatural aid.

Wisdom and Faith

- Wisdom allows you to draw more cards or search your deck
- Faith counters enemy Miracles and boosts Scriptures
These secondary stats add strategy and variation.

Wisdom Bonuses:

- 20+ Wisdom: Draw 1 extra card at the start of each turn.

- 25+ Wisdom: Draw 1 extra card and look at top 3 cards of your deck to choose 1 Scripture.

- 30+ Wisdom: Draw 3 extra cards OR play 1 additional Miracle this turn.

Faith Bonuses:

- 20+ Faith: Reduce incoming Covenant Point damage by 1.

- 25+ Faith: Play 1 additional Miracle this turn.

- 30+ Faith: Once per game, prevent all Champion discards and restore 5 Covenant Points.
