Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Crossroads Commons

Where parties meet.

The foundation is built. Help us bring the community online.

What We’re Creating

Crossroads Commons is a community and organization platform for tabletop roleplaying game players and Game Masters.

When the platform goes live, players will be able to create an account, build profiles for their characters, and mark characters as looking for a group. They will be able to search party listings by game system, play format, and beginner-friendly status; review the details of a party; apply to join; or respond to invitations from Game Masters.

Character creation in the working alpha, including game system, class, level, and Looking for a Party status.

Party discovery in the working alpha, filtered for the selected character’s game system and showing available seats and play format.

Once accepted, players will have one place to communicate with their party, view scheduled sessions, receive reminders, track attendance, and review their experience after verified participation.

A working party group conversation, allowing accepted members and the Game Master to communicate in one place.

Game Masters will be able to create a profile, publish and manage party listings, review applications, invite players, communicate with party members, schedule sessions, and record attendance. These connected tools are intended to replace the scattered collection of social-media posts, private messages, calendars, and handwritten notes that groups commonly use today.

The Game Master application workflow, showing accepted characters added to a party in the live alpha.

Trust and safety are part of the platform’s foundation. Reputation will be connected to completed sessions and verified attendance rather than anonymous popularity. Blocking, reporting, privacy, and moderation tools will help communities address problems without exposing private conversations or personal information unnecessarily.

Crossroads Commons will not host game rules, adventures, maps, stat blocks, lore, or other copyrighted publisher content. It is designed to help people find one another, organize their time, communicate, and build lasting tabletop groups.

What Exists Today

A working Windows alpha already runs locally. It currently supports character creation, party listings and discovery, applications, invitations, acceptance, party messaging, session scheduling, attendance tracking, safety tools, and early reputation workflows.

The current alpha stores its information on one device. Kickstarter funding will allow us to replace that local-only foundation with secure accounts, synchronized cloud data, shared communication, deployment infrastructure, and the protections required for real people to use the platform together.

Why This Matters to Me

I built Crossroads Commons because finding the right tabletop group should not be harder than playing the game. Players and Game Masters deserve tools designed around the complete life of a party—from the first search and application through scheduling, attendance, communication, trust, and long-term community.

The goal is straightforward: help more people find the right table and give those tables a better chance to stay together.

Find your party. Build your story.

What Your Support Will Fund

The local alpha proves that the core workflows work. Kickstarter funding will help us move those systems from one device into a secure online service that real tabletop communities can use together.

Planned use of the $4,800 goal:

  • $700 — Apple Silicon development hardware
  • $99 — Apple Developer Program, first year
  • $25 — Google Play registration
  • $1,100 — Cloud hosting, database, and storage
  • $650 — Authentication, account recovery, and security services
  • $400 — Development tools and technical services
  • $400 — Testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • $200 — Interface assets and accessibility improvements
  • $150 — Marketing and community outreach
  • $300 — Reward production and fulfillment
  • $480 — Estimated Kickstarter and payment-processing fees
  • $296 — Technical contingency

Total: $4,800

Apple requires Apple hardware to build, test, sign, and publish an iPhone application. The campaign therefore includes up to $700 for reliable used or certified-refurbished Apple Silicon development hardware. This supports the planned iPhone version without diverting funds from the cloud infrastructure.

How We Will Deliver

After funding, Noan Studios will acquire the required development hardware, establish secure cloud accounts and storage, migrate the existing alpha features in controlled phases, conduct internal testing, open the Founding Backer beta, resolve beta issues, and then begin staged public releases.

Session scheduling in the current alpha, including date, start time, duration, time zone, and logistics notes.
