Hi, I'm Tom, and I've spent the last years working in the gaming industry. From computer to console to mobile games, I've poured my heart into creating immersive experiences for players around the world. day, I had a spark of inspiration. What if I could bring the eerie and captivating world of the Cthulhu mythos to a card game? And that's how Cthulhu 1920 was born.
I sketched out the first version of the game, and it was thrilling to see my idea take shape. And it worked! I was ecstatic. I knew I had something special, so I refined the gameplay and couldn't wait to test it further.
My first playtester? My wonderful wife. She wasn't exactly thrilled at first, but what choice did she have? After a few games and some tweaks, I was back at it, asking her to play again. She was a trooper, even if she didn't always show it.
With each round of adjustments, I expanded my playtesting circle to include friends and family. Everyone from my brother-in-law to my neighbor got involved. After countless playtest rounds with my brother-in-law, neighbor, lawyer, and more, I finally had the perfect version of Cthulhu 1920.
Next, I focused on the game's graphics, setting, and lore. I wanted every detail to be perfect, so I kept testing it with my ever-patient playtesters.
And now, I present to you Cthulhu 1920! It's so good, even my wife doesn't hide when I ask her to play anymore! :-)
