Dark Halls: A Shadowdark RPG Expansion

Two tomes of dark fantasy in the modern, streamlined style that makes Shadowdark RPG fast and furious! With hundreds of new player options, new monsters, new magic, and new adventures, Dark Halls will expand the possibilities—without cluttering your game.

Grim Scroll is the Kobold Press Shadowdark RPG zine (and BOY do we love doing zines, check out Warlock if you like). These 64-page softcover zines are beautiful and bizarre, with cover art by Tony DiTerlizzi, Karl Waller, and the Russ Nicholson (of Fiend Folio fame).

The first volume, March of Death, is a set of crypts linked in a large adventure. Torchlight Terrors provides short adventures from towers to mines to bizarre ooze-caverns and archmagical architecture. Volume 3 is where we clean up and get weird: The Relentless Miscellany contains tables, curiosities, and oddments, to bring joy to your GMing!

We will announce stretch goals as soon as the project is funded. They include additional adventures, monster cards, and (if the backer numbers go big!) some surprises. 

The designers for this project are Kelsey Dionne, Wolfgang Baur, Celeste Conowitch, Brandon Crilly, Andrew Dempz, Victoria Jaczko, Rajan Khanna, JB Little, Evan Noone, Richard Pett, Jeff Quick, Thomas Reid, Kendrick Smith, Dot Steverson, Brian Suskind, Mike Welham, and Chris Wright. 

The contributing artists are Justine Jones, Lucas Korte, Tony Diterlizzi, Simone Delladio, Russ Nicholson, Pedro Potier, Karl Waller, and Anita Zaramella.

The cartographers are Tommi Salamma and Dyson Logos.

It's always hard to know what to say about shipping; Kobold Press works with partners in Canada, the UK, and Australia to provide friendly shipping to North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. However, fuel surcharges and shipping timelines overall are growing more difficult to predict, as have various fuel surcharges in the US and Canada, rising pick fees in Australia, additional customs requirements in the EU, and somewhat randomized tariffs in the US.

We aim to reduce the cost of shipping as much as we can. It's never a source of profit, only anxiety and best efforts. Our best guess at the shipping costs to your location are visible in the reward tier when you pledge; exact shipping costs will be provided in the survey stage.

We have learned to love digital delivery of rewards, but there's always a place for print in our little kobold hearts.
