Deadlands' 30th Anniversary extravaganza continues with a triple-threat of Weird West action! Our Trail Guides series has filled in the blank spaces of Hell on the High Plains and the Abominable Northwest and now continues that journey into the Mysterious Maze! 

The Mysterious Maze source book has everything you need to know about the locations, people, and events surrounding California and the shattered coastline now known as the Great Maze. It's joined by not one, but two thrilling Plot Point Campaigns set within the perilous region: The Curse of the Maze Queen and Shane Hensley's epic Red Tide!

The Curse of the Maze Queen is a boxed set adventure following the poker tournament of the century aboard a stately river boat in the perilous waters of the Maze. Whether the posse is there to play for the prize, protect it from low-down varmints, or take it for themselves the Maze Queen is the place to be!

Red Tide is an adventure book by Deadlands maestro Shane Hensley telling the bloody tale of the one-and-only Dracula's trip to the Weird West. He has the Twilight Legion in his sights, and it's going to take the best of the West and some serious luck to stop his evil plan!

The Mysterious Maze Source Book

Curse of the Maze Queen

Set during the summer of 1884, this campaign takes your heroes on a trip through the Maze aboard the Maze Queen to take part in a deadly poker tournament for the most valuable and accursed diamond in the Weird West: The Heart of Darkness!

But you won’t be the only cowpokes looking to win big, and you can bet your bottom dollar trouble is waiting around every mesa and under every wave. This epic tale was written by Philipp Christophel and prepared for the box by Ben Giles. It has everything you could want in a riverboat-style Weird West campaign!

Red Tide

Digital Rewards

We deliver the first PDF a few weeks after the project funds and we get the final backer list from Kickstarter.  This means delivery of the main PDFs about a month after funding.

We deliver PDF materials through the Pinnacle website and DriveThruRPG.com.

Physical Rewards

After the Kickstarter ends, we'll use a pledge manager to collate the physical pledges and then collect shipping once the product is on its way from the printer. You can upgrade your pledge or include more Add-Ons in your order while the pledge manager is open.

Shipping prices are changing rapidly in the current climate, and despite our best efforts global supply chains remain volatile. Given all that's going on in the world, providing an estimate of the rates now rather than closer to shipping is nothing more than a guess.

Our long-time friends at Studio 2 will handle all domestic shipping, and we continue to work hard to build relationships with partners around the world. Backers should see costs closer to local rates, and orders to the EU, UK, Canada, and Australia will be Customs friendly.

Since we can't tell you what those rates will be yet, any backer who wishes can downgrade their pledge to the nearest digital option once the rates are established and we'll refund the difference—no questions asked.

Deadlands is the premier Weird Western setting. You can download the free Test Drive, here to see what it's all about. In a nutshell, evil entities called The Reckoners and their minions work to turn the American West into a place where the dead walk and nightmares come alive. 

Deadlands uses the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition and requires the core (either SWADE core and the original Deadlands core, or just Deadlands core 2026 alone since it contains everything you need from SWADE) rules to play. For the uninitiated, players roll trait dice from d4 to d12, plus a Wild Die (a d6), and take whichever result is better hoping to hit a Target Number (usually 4). Beating the Target Number by 4 or more is called a raise, and grants extra benefits. Dice that roll the maximum number "Ace" and roll again to add, so any roll can succeed if you're lucky enough. Players get a little extra control in the form of "Bennies", chips they can spend to try a roll again or mitigate damage. The result is Fast, Furious, and Fun! Our Boosters are smaller support projects for our existing lines and come with Booster Rewards built-in rather than Stretch Goals. The book is written and in layout, the art is mostly finished, and we're ready to send basically everything in the campaign to the printers right away! But campaigns are a vital part of our community and our business. By running a campaign for Deadlands: The Mysterious Maze we can:
