About DAIB:

DAIB is not your typical tabletop game; it's a financial rollercoaster that mirrors the ups and downs of the investment banking world. Crafted for investment bankers, finance students, and anyone who appreciates a good laugh while navigating the complex world of finance, DAIB brings a unique twist to the table!

How to Play

In each round, one player plays the role of the Investment Banking Maestro, drawing a Blue Card that poses a financial conundrum, scenario, or question. The remaining players, armed with their wit and knowledge of the finance realm, respond with their funniest and most astute White Cards. The result? A hilarious clash of financial prowess and absurdity that will leave everyone in stitches.

Special cards that elevate the game

There are four types of "Special Cards" in the game, each wielding its own brand of financial wizardry. 

Insider Trading Card

Imagine them as the financial fortune tellers of the game. These cards grant you the power to peek at all the cards passed by the Investment Banking Maestro, allowing you to play puppet master with the fate of the round. Feel te thrill as you spot the winning card and nonchalantly toss it aside, leaving your competition in a sea of bewildered laughter.

Hostile Takeover Card

Think of this card as your financial trump card, your ace in the hole. With the Hostile Takeover Card, you don't just play the game; you bend it to your will. Peek into everyone's card, trade hands with the player of your choosing - it's financial manipulation at its finest.

Golden Parachute Card.

This card is the ultimate game-changer, like a financial superhero soaring in to rescue you from the depths of a bland hand. Activate the Golden Parachute, and suddenly, every players must draw up 10 new cards. It's like hitting the refresh button on your investment strategy, injecting a burst of new possibilities and potential hilarity.

More Special Cards: Impression & Experience Cards

And just when you thought the financial madness had peaked, we introduce the cards that truly separate the analysts from the absolute lunatics: the Impression & Experience Cards. 

These gems drag you out of your ergonomic office chair and straight into the spotlight. One moment you’re thumping your chest like a deal‑drunk executive preparing for a billion‑dollar pitch, the next you’re reenacting the chaotic enthusiasm of a motivational keynote gone horribly right.

Timeline

In 2023, we tossed around the idea for "Deals Against Investment Banking." By 2024, our dream team was in action. We cranked out the first 250 cards. The end of 2024 was all about testing and tweaking. We doubled the fun with 500 cards and more testing in 2025. Now, in January 2026, we're getting hyped for our big Kickstarter launch, inviting backers to throw in their card ideas. Get ready for a quirky take on investment banking coming your way!  🚀

Shipping and Duties

We’ll be partnering with fulfillment centers to ship DAIB to backers in select locations around the world. Below, you’ll find information on where we can ship to, the estimated costs, and what timeline you can expect before you receive your rewards.

Please be aware that an initial shipping estimate is collected when you pledge, and that duties are not included in your initial payment outside the EU. After the campaign but before the DAIB are shipped, we’ll email you a link to a pledge manager that will collect your address, calculate taxes and any additional shipping costs, and allow you to handle the payment digitally.
