The Dice Tower is a group of gamers dedicated to growing and promoting the board game hobby.
Tom Vasel, Zee Garcia, Mike Dilisio, Camilla Cleghorn, Joey Evans, Wendy Yi, Chris Yi, and many others produce weekly videos on our YouTube channel covering hundreds of different games, both new and classic. We release audio versions of our YouTube videos in podcast format so you can listen to them whenever and wherever you like.
Tom also produces a biweekly podcast with Julie Ahern and Eric Summerer where they talk about board games and related topics.
But that's not all!
We also produce variety shows (such as Board Game Breakfast, Crowdsurfing, Hot Takes, Voting shows, and more!) where we bring you the latest industry news, projects, and publications. We also bring you "Top Ten" videos on different gaming topics, “We’ll Play It Live” segments, shopping guides, and more! All these can be seen on our YouTube channel and on our website at www.dicetower.com.
Why Back Us?
Our show gets the majority of its funding from our Gamefound campaign each year. We have ten full-time employees and five part-time employees. Last year we moved locations and spent quite a bit of money rebuilding the studios - including really enhancing our live play studio.
Money from the project goes towards
- Paying our salaries
- Making sure we have the best possible equipment in our studios and editing areas
- Keeping the lights on in the offices
- Covering the cost of the rewards we send out to our backers
Our costs have gone up considerably (including tariffs), but we are working hard to keep costs down, which is why the funding goal is the same as last year. But we want to make some improvements this year!
- We want to improve our audio in our three studios, so that it is of the highest quality
- We want to upgrade the lighting in the studios, moving lights off the ground and adding a structure like we have in our Live Play Studio
- I (Tom) want to make sure that my employees get a cost-of-living raise
- We want to continue to make our live shows the most entertaining in the business, and work with our current staff to come up with new and useful shows.
We have several full-time employees who work hard every day, and this campaign allows them to continue to do so as I want them to be fairly compensated. We've moved in the past year, which has depleted our savings, but our new location is amazing, and we love that we have the freedom to bring you amazing content. For those backing the campaign, we have a myriad of cool rewards, but we hope that your main goal in supporting this campaign is keeping the Dice Tower on the air. When you back, your main reward is another year of Dice Tower content! We are the one campaign that delivers the day the campaign ends!

Important Note: Due to logistics, we CANNOT offer promos separately. We often DO offer them separately the following year, but we make no guarantees that will happen, as our first priority is YOU, the backers.
Rewards
Rewards are available by pledge and/or add-on. Please note on the left side of each graphic to know how each is available. We can accommodate a limited number of some rewards, so they are ONLY available as a pledge. If you want one of these rewards, you must select this as your pledge level (and add-on any other goodies you want!).
Also, the BEST way to support us is by simply backing the content we create. Check out our $60 pledge ($5 a month) or $144 pledge ($12 a month). We strive to be an entertainment channel that brings you consistent, useful content. Consider treating us as a streaming channel and help us make our videos better!
