Discopoly

We fixed Monopoly and added a disc golf theme.

We took Monopoly, combined it with great disc golf courses, manufacturers, and the PDGA, and then changed the rules to make a great game that actually ends. Wanna play? The goal is to land on properties, owned by you or others, and succeed at the tournaments they hold, advancing to better and better events until you are World Champion. Money is a means to an end, namely ... playing more disc golf!

Fun Course Upgrades

When you buy the property, you build the course. Then you can improve the property, and you don't need a Monopoly to do it! You could spend all your money right away, meaning you have a strategic decision right from the start. 

Do you add a Pro Shop, give Lessons, build Indoor Bathrooms, a Restaurant, and even add Glamping to your course? If you get the Monopoly, you can charge double for all your great improvements!

If you run out of cash, you can't mortgage or trade. Be wise with your investments, or else you may have to go home and get your financial feet back under you in mom and dad's basement. No one gets eliminated, they just go home for a bit.

Strategic Decisions

• Tournament Track to become World Champion.
• Provisionals to adjust movement or tournament die rolls.
• Properties can be improved without a monopoly, getting a monopoly doubles prices.
• Landing on an owned property is how you play tournaments - if it is your property, the tournament fees are waived.
• There is no mortgaging or selling property. If you can't pay greens fees or any money due, you are bankrupt and have to go back home to get back on your feet.

There are tons of strategic decisions. Should you save money to play events? Or upgrade properties to increase your greeens fees? Should you use a provisional to avoid huge greens fees? Or save them for a bad tournament round?
