Divine Right 2nd Printing
Divine Right is more than just a game. It is a work of fantasy literature, in which you, the players, control the destinies of nations. You organize the alliances, seek out the magical treasures, and lead your armies and fleets to battles, sieges, plunder, and (if you have been wise) victory.
Divine Right is a classic fantasy board war game originally published in 1979 by the Game Wizards at TSR. Divine Right is a game with 45 years of history, lore, optional rules, books written by the designer Glenn Rahman (available on Amazon) and more built into it. Playable by 2 to 6 players in 2 - 6 hours.
Get all the original cards and counters with the 2nd printing.
Battles of Divine Right: Shrieker's Scrub
The first in a new lineup of travel-sized games based on the lore of Minaria with the Battles of Divine Right series. Games in this series take a single battle from anywhere in the classic game's expansive world and allow two players to experience the conflict themselves.
The Battle of Shrieker's Scrub takes players back in time, as borders were still being established, and zooms in on the final escalation of tensions between the northern nations of Immer and Zorn, as Immer presses deep into Zorn's territory and forces the goblins to defend their home. Make your mark on Minarian history by choosing your side and leading your nation to victory! Battles of Divine Right games are made for two players and can be completed in less than an hour for only $25!

Designer Info
Glenn A. Rahman, in the '70s and '80s, was a frequent pre-computer era contributor to the semi-pro scene, such as Fantasy Crosswinds, Eldritch Tales, and Crypt of Cthulhu. His first professional publication came with the release of the fantasy board game Divine Right, published by TSR, Inc. in 1979. This was followed by Knights of Camelot (1980, TSR), the Trojan War (1980, Metagaming), and Down with the King (1980, Avalon Hill).
During this time, Glenn Rahman and his brother Philip (founder of the still-extant Fedogan and Bremer book company, specializing in Cthulhu Mythos and supernaturally-themed literature) created a two-part article for Sorcerer's Apprentice, the Lovecraft Variant and the Monsters of the Cthulhu Mythos which amounted to the first successful transference of H.P. Lovecraft's style of supernatural literature into a modern role-playing format. In addition, Mr. Rahman has continued to publish board gaming and fantasy role-playing articles and supplements widely. His first book-length fictional work was serialized in Dragon Magazine (beginning in 1980), entitled The Minarian Legends, which keyed off his original Divine Right universe.
Available on Amazon, Minarian Legends has lately been reissued as a paperback book. In 2001, Sidecar Books of Minneapolis, MN published his Gardens of Lucullus, a Cthulhu Mythos novel in collaboration with Richard L. Tierney. In 2023, DMR Books published A Feast of Ambrosia, featuring his two Dark Age sword and sorcery heroes, Bingor and Donalbain.
