Doomed Souls - Mork Borg Miniatures

MÖRK BORG is a brutal, rules-light, and deadly dark fantasy RPG set in a world that is rapidly approaching its end.

Players take the roles of outcasts, heretics, deserters, thieves, cursed warriors, and other desperate souls trying to survive a land filled with plague, fanaticism, monsters, ancient ruins, and occult horrors.

The rules are fast and simple, using d20-based mechanics, straightforward statistics, and extremely dangerous combat. Characters can die easily, so the game focuses more on atmosphere, risk, exploration, and creative problem-solving than on becoming powerful heroes.

“Doomed Souls” is our interpretation of the world of MÖRK BORG, in which we wanted to weave in strong elements of cynicism, tragedy, depression, black humor, and irony.

“Doomed Souls” is an independent production by Endless Tree Publishing and is not affiliated with Ockult Örtmästare Games or Stockholm Kartell. It is published under the MÖRK BORG Third Party License.

We put great care into every stage of the process to ensure that each model is thoughtfully designed, has its own distinct character, and feels at home in the bleak and brutal world of MÖRK BORG. From the earliest concept sketches to the final sculpt and finished product, our goal has been to create miniatures that are not only visually striking, but also consistent with the atmosphere, tone, and personality of the setting.

Before taking a closer look at our models, please keep a few important aspects in mind:

1. All models are designed in 32mm scale.
2. Standard-sized miniatures are supplied on 25mm bases, while larger models use 50mm bases.
3. Weapons, limbs, fabric thickness, and other vulnerable elements are carefully designed to achieve the right balance between appearance and durability. They are made to look great on the tabletop while being less fragile during normal handling and gameplay.
4. Thanks to carefully considered model design and professionally prepared pre-supports, our miniatures are optimized for reliable, high-quality resin printing.

Each model is provided in Four versions:

1. STL — unsupported model
2. Pre-supported STL — ready for printing
3. Pre-supported Lychee file — with fully editable supports, allowing you to freely adjust or modify them to suit your own printing setup.
4. Printable 2D paper miniature — a ready-to-print paper version of the model for players who do not use a resin 3D printer or prefer lightweight, easy-to-carry miniatures.

       One of our friends recently suggested that we should also create paper versions of our miniatures for players who do not own a resin 3D printer, as well as for those who simply appreciate models that are lightweight, easy to store, and convenient to transport.

        To create these 2D paper miniatures, we used an AI-assisted image generation process based on renders of our existing 3D models. The original characters, designs, poses, and overall appearance come directly from our 3D sculpts, while AI was used only to help transform those renders into a suitable 2D illustrated format.
         Please treat these paper miniatures primarily as a bonus addition to the project rather than a full standalone product. Our main focus remains the 3D printable miniatures, but we thought this could be a fun and useful extra option for anyone who prefers a simpler, more portable way to use the characters at the table.
