— description fournie par l’éditeur

Présentation de la campagne

Key Features

SIMULTANEOUS PLAY: Dragonhoard is organized into rounds with a variety of Regions you can visit, each with its own Guards and Resources. You’ll never have to wait for other players, unless your plans put you into direct conflict.

PUBLIC ABILITIES & SECRET GOALS: Build your Dragon into a Majestic, Regal, Toothy, Leviathan of Long-Smoldering Fury and Fangorious Devourment (for example) by acquiring the resources you need to buy Titles which level-up your Dragon and help you fulfill your secret Folklore goals.

LEGEND & INFAMY: each Title has both a benefit (its “Legend”) and some detriment (its “Infamy”). Balance these carefully! Or perhaps you’ll find a way to turn a curse into a blessing?

UNIQUENESS, VARIETY, & ASYMMETRY: with 6 unique asymmetric Dragon abilities, 7 unique Regions, 18 unique Folklore goals, 29 unique Guards (in a deck of 48 cards), and 54 unique Titles cards… that’s a lot of uniqueness! With 379,501,200 combinations of Titles, you'll never play the same game twice.

PUSH YOUR LUCK: Dragons sure are greedy! But how much can you get away with? That's the question behind every decision in Dragonhoard!

RAGE, AS A MECHANIC: In Dragonhoard, you gain Rage (sort of like super-Magic) whenever something happens which makes you angry. Finally, a game which rewards you for your real-life feelings!

WHIMSICAL HAND-DRAWN LINE ART: artist Gregory Arico did every bit of line art for Dragonhoard. This will be the first published game to feature his art, but it certainly won’t be the last!

What's in the Box?

Each round of Dragonhoard, you'll add resources and Guards to each Region, visit one, take whatever stuff you can, then claim new Titles based on the resources you've grabbed.

Of course, your "fellow" Dragons want the same things as you do, and Dragons don't tell each other their plans. Your secretly chosen Visit may put you in conflict with other players if you both choose the same Region.

A Race, and perhaps a Fight, are the inevitable result.

And those impertinent humans will sometimes leave Guards, which could be either inconvenient, or else a necessary step in your plan to being amazing. Guards could drive you away, but victory is the only way to acquire the Notoriety you need to get the best and most-coveted Titles.

As you claim Titles, they change you! Being a CREATURE OF LEGEND means that you ARE your Legend, flaws and all. And there's nothing quite like the drama of treating the entire table to your full name:

The games ends when a player has 5 Titles and a player has a 5-point Title.

But wait! Don't forget about your secret scoring goals: Folklore! These are chosen at the end of the first round, and represent the stories told about you by the common folk. They'll guide your choices throughout the game, but success or failure is determined only at the end.

Add up the points, and find out who is the best Dragon! (Hint: it's you. YOU'RE the best. Because YOU bought the game!)

Why back now?

Because you want Dragonhoard! But also, to sweeten the pot, everyone who buys a copy of Dragonhoard receives...

Reward Tiers

Add-On Items

First, what you might call the "Quality of Life" add-ons: things that make the game experience more satisfying.

Next, the Additional Content add-ons!

And for those of you who are known to hoard both games and books...

Stretch Goals

For each Stretch Goal, if we reach it, you'll see these additional or upgraded components in every manufactured copy of Dragonhoard!

Being a Dragon

What's it like being a Dragon? And how is being Smugg different from being Feng, or Kephalia? Which Dragon best fits your personality? Very important questions! Here's a quick guide to each Dragon's play-style.
