Drew Tucker's Playmat and Token Collection

Hello, and welcome to Drew Tucker's Playmat and Token Collection!

Drew has been illustrating for Magic since Alpha, bringing his unique style to game since its inception.  Here are all of the cards he's illustrated.

Drew has teamed up with the OMA Store to offer his personal artwork in token form, along with officially licensed, limited edition playmats and prints of some of his most famous and popular Magic artwork.

All tokens will be printed on high-quality 300 gsm blue core card stock.  We're working with a very reliable printer and we are really proud of the quality of these tokens.

The project is launching with 30 tokens, packaged in a custom, and extremely sturdy, two-part rigid box. With your support, we can unlock and include even more tokens, which will be automatically added to the sets.

As new Tokens are unlocked via Stretch Goals, they will be added to the image below.

After illustrating Dandân many years ago and the rise of the format that bears its name, Drew was inspired to create new visions for his earlier artwork and thus was born Drew Tucker's Forgetful Fish.

The Forgetful Fish Booster Pack includes 10 alternate art Dandân tokens, created by Drew specifically with players of the eponymous format in mind.  These tokens are printed on the same high quality, 300 gsm blue-core card stock as the token sets and come packaged in a custom booster pack.

In addition to the 10 alternate art Dandân tokens, the Forgetful Fish booster pack includes a very special Copy Token as well.

We worked with Drew and Nick Floyd, creator of the Forgetful Fish/Dandân format, to immortalize his contribution to the game with this Copy Token, featuring a stylized portrait of Nick painted by Drew.

The design of the booster pack contents are still in development and will be revealed during the course of this project.

For the more discerning Token collector, we offer our Premium Foil Tokens.

Printed on high-quality, blue core 300 gsm card stock with an added holographic foil layer, these tokens are absolutely radiant.

Every token unlocked through the project will also be available as Layered Foils.

What this means is that each  token will have parts that are shinier and catch the light, customized to that card. It's hard to illustrate, but if you've seen Foil cards from a certain popular game that these tokens can be used with, you know exactly what we mean. Here's a mockup of how it could look:

Layered Foiling means better contrast for the darker areas and truer color for the midtones. Vianki will process the art for each card, selecting both tonal highlights and content highlights (such as swords or silvery bits) for the most effective foiling.

Each Playmat has the following features:

• Extended Artwork - The artwork on each playmat has been extended by Drew beyond what appears in the card frame to perfectly fit the new format.
• Premium Stitched Edge - The premium offering for Playmats, each mat will have high quality stitching around every edge, ensuring that your playmat will last a very long time.
• Limited Edition - We will never reprint any of these playmats with a stitched edge, ever again.  This is your only opportunity, ever, to get this artwork on a stitched playmat. (Playmats are printed in units of 50, so we’ll print to demand, but no more than the closest unit of 50.)
• Hand Signed and Numbered - The plan is to have each mat hand signed by Drew, making each of them unique to this project.
• Minimal Logos - We're working with Wizards of the Coast and their officially licensed printers to minimize the impact of their logos as much as we possibly can.  The preview above is an approximation of the final logos.

Additional Playmats not seen here will be added to the project after the project ends, based on the votes of the backers.  Check the updates for the final list of playmats available to backers.

In addition to the excellent Stitched Edge Playmats, we are also offering a Limited Edition Two Player Dandân Playmat, featuring an even more expanded vision by Drew of the original artwork.

Each Playmat has the following features:

• Unique Extended Artwork - The artwork has been expertly crafted by Drew to create a unique piece of art.
• Standard Edge  - Due to being 24"x24", we are unable to offer these mats with a stitched edge, so they will all have the standard unstitched edge seen on most UltraPro playmats.
• Limited Edition - We will never reprint any of these playmats, ever again.  This is your only opportunity, ever, to get this artwork on a two player playmat. (Two Player Playmats are printed in units of 25, so we’ll print to demand, but no more than the closest unit of 25.)
• Hand Signed and Numbered - The plan is to have each mat hand signed by Drew, making each of them unique to this project.
• Minimal Logos - We work with the printing company to minimize the impact of their logos as much as we possibly can.

For this project, we’ve decided to offer Limited Edition Prints of the Extended Artwork used for the Playmats from the project.

Available exclusively through this project, these Limited Edition 16"x24" Giclee Prints are simply sublime.

• Extended Artwork - The artwork on each Print has been extended by Drew beyond what appears in the card frame.
• Museum Quality - Printed on high quality, textured, water color paper with museum quality archival inks.
• Limited Edition - One and done print run.  We will never print these again.
• Hand Signed and Numbered - We plan to have each print hand signed by Drew, making each print unique to this project.

Shipping will be charged after the project ends, when Backer Surveys are sent out.

Shipping cost will be based on the combined weight of all Rewards and Add-ons plus packing materials.  We are managing fulfillment with the aim of reducing shipping costs for backers as much as possible.

Please Do Not Include the Cost of Shipping In Your Pledge - Your shipping cost will be calculated and charged when you complete your Backer Survey.

Here is a breakdown of what shipping will cost for US and International Backers:

For backers outside the United States, your country may charge import taxes, duties, or customs fees when your package arrives. These fees are set by your local customs agency and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to control or pay these charges, and we also can’t communicate directly with customs offices on a backer’s behalf. If a package is delayed, held, or inspected by customs, the local agency will need to work directly with you to resolve it.

We’ll always do our best to provide accurate shipping information and documentation to help things move smoothly.

We will be managing fulfillment through Backerkit.  If you are a backer that would like to back via Paypal, Backerkit allows us to do that after the project ends.  Simply contact us, and we will get you added to the project.
