Welcome 

I am launching two building systems, TerraPin and TerraLock. They can be used independently or combined to create the most versatile terrain system

The TerraPin system is designed to build terrain quickly and assemble without snaps. The walls use pins that print in place and drop out the bottom to hold them in place.

The TerraLock system is designed for building strong, highly modular structures. TerraLock is great for building vertical terrain or larger, more complex structures. It is strong enough it can even build organizers and gaming accessories.

Interactive Terrain

Accessories slide over the wall for a surprise reveal. Use saws, dark crystals, or poison gas traps.  Create secret doorways.

Advantages of TerraPin

• Pieces drop in place for very simple, very fast assembly. TerraPin was developed with simplicity as the most important constraint. There are very few barriers between imagining a layout and building it.
• Integrated fog of war. Easily hide the rooms that haven't been explored.
• Transport. An entire dungeon can be built ahead of time and transported to your gaming session. Putting a lid, made of floor tiles, on top will keep the walls from sliding around, even if it is turned upside down.
• Scatter terrain stays in place
• Movable walls. Remove damaged walls, or rotate them to create a secret passageway. 
• No base. The floor tiles can be arranged however you like without creating a large grid that distracts from the aesthetics, and adds unnecessary height and material.

Advantages of TerraLock

• Excellent verticality. Stack walls and floors vertically and lock them together. 
• Excellent strength. Build large structures with minimal support. 
• Interchangeable wall covers. You do not have to take the dungeon apart to change the look. Swap in covers with different scenery.
• Short and tall walls. Balance immersion and access. 
• Multi-use. Build boxes for storing and transporting your terrain. Build organizers, dice towers, toolboxes, paint stations, drawers, shelves, wall organizer systems, dice boxes, etc. Give your terrain a use between gaming sessions.

Separate items for TerraLock

The following is a list of items that are purchased separately. The 20mm long M3 screws and nut are used the most and are the only required parts. The 25mm long screws are used for the drawers because the drawer slide adds extra height between the floors and the walls. The 6mm long screw is used for the clamping floor connector. The magnets add a small amount of value in niche circumstances. I recommend building without magnets first.

Gaminggeek review

Support is designed in the model. This saves on material, improves reliability, and makes the support easy to remove

Reliable results. Prints have been tested and optimized.

Simple slicer settings. A few changes to the default settings and you will be ready to print.

Story

     I started with a problem I saw in the 3d printed terrain community and I noticed it in the wider 3d printing community as well. There is a lot of wasted effort preparing terrain for a game, only to put it in storage when it is not in use. People can spend months printing, only for the terrain to get a brief spotlight on game night.  I realized a modular system that can build things that are visually appealing, and functional could solve this problem. When the original use is no longer relevant, they can take it apart and reuse the pieces to build something new.

         I found the process of imagining all the different things this system could be used for to be incredibly refreshing. It reminded me of playing with Legos as a kid which is one of the things that got me into engineering. I think this system will inspire creativity through possibility and help kindle that love of creating.

File Delivery

     Files will be delivered through MyMiniFactory.com once the funds have cleared. The expected delivery time is two to three weeks after the campaign ends. It may take longer to deliver the stretch goals depending on how many are unlocked. Your kickstarter email will be used to send your files through MyMiniFactory.  

License Agreement

By pledging to this kickstarter, purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using the Digital Files, you agree to the following terms:

1. DIGITAL PRODUCT ONLY

This Agreement applies exclusively to digital files meant for 3D printing. No physical product is being sold or shipped. 

2. PERMITTED USE

You may download and 3D print the Digital Files for personal, non commercial use only.

3. RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS

You shall not, under any circumstances:

No Commercial Use: Sell, rent, lease, license, or otherwise profit from physical prints created from the Digital Files, or use the Digital Files for any commercial, business, or revenue-generating purposes.

No Redistribution: Share, distribute, sell, upload, host, transmit, or sub-license the Digital Files (or modified versions of them) on any website, platform, cloud service, file-sharing network, or to any third party by any means.

No Modification or Reverse Engineering: Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Digital Files for the purpose of distribution, sale, or claiming ownership.

Prohibition of AI Training and Machine Learning: Feed, upload, import, scrape, or otherwise use the Digital Files, associated preview images, renders, metadata, or derivative prints to train, tune, develop, validate, or enhance any artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), neural network, generative 3D model, algorithmic design tool, or computer vision algorithm.

4. OWNERSHIP

All title, ownership rights, intellectual property rights, and copyrights in and to the Digital Files (including but not limited to designs, images, text, and 3D geometry) are and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of REME Creations.

No title, ownership, or intellectual property rights are assigned, transferred, or conveyed to you under this Agreement. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by REME Creations.
