What is DungeonKids?

DungeonKids® is the adventure card game that makes learning Maths and English fun.

Choose a quest, build your story, and put homework to the sword with 90+ immersive challenges, based on the UK National Curriculum Key Stage 1 (KS1).

Combine 11 quest cards, 67 challenge cards and 14 epic bosses to create countless unique adventures.

The adventure begins

Hi, I’m George, and this is Atti (also known as Sir Atticus the Brave). 

When Atti started school, he absolutely loved it, but a few months into Year 1 he became more anxious and wanted to stay home in the mornings.

When we spoke to his teacher, we found out he was struggling with reading, and the further behind he got, the more he avoided books and homework.

We tried everything to help Atti get his confidence back, and one Saturday morning, DungeonKids was born.

It started as simple flashcards, with clipart of monsters and heroes haphazardly glued to them (Atti had been wearing a knight costume continuously for six months, so I was fairly confident this would get his attention).

Since then, the game has evolved massively, and Atti went from avoiding reading to begging to play "just one more game".

With DungeonKids, the fun, the fantasy and the immersion come first. Learning happens organically.
