Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Eater of Worlds is a campaign for Coriolis – The Third Horizon consisting of five interlinked scenarios of varying length and intensity. The player characters follow the trail of nefarious rogue scientist doctor Wana through the Third Horizon, while uncovering a vast conspiracy and an ancient, planet-ending threat. In the end, they will learn terrible secrets. And the Icons are watching.

Features

A Beloved Campaign
Originally created and played by one of Sweden’s most prominent actual play podcasts, Eater of Worlds already has a solid reputation as a strong showcase for the wonder and variety of the Third Horizon setting. Now for the first time in print, with additional deep background, expanded scenarios, beautiful illustrations and detailed maps, this celebrated campaign comes alive like never before.

Player Agency
Three of the scenarios feature vast and populated adventure sites rife with conflict, danger and opportunity. Here, the player characters must find their own particular route to their goal, based on their backgrounds, skills and whims. Every group will have a different story. And while the other two scenarios are more straight-forward in their design, they’re certainly not without choices that have very different, very noticeable consequences.

Modular Themes
Recognizing that no gaming group is quite like another, Eater of Worlds defines three distinct themes present in its larger plot, with suggestions in every scenario for how each one might be pushed into the foreground. This provides the GM with a tool for adapting the plot to how players and their characters interpret the evolving narrative, assisting the unpredictable symphony that is a played campaign with suiting the ears around their particular table.

Mysteries Revealed
Eater of Worlds builds its deep background on one of the central mysteries of the Third Horizon. Through the three different themes, the campaign eventually offers its own varying explanations (and potentially horrifying implications) of the nature of the Icons. As the campaign progresses and the characters learn more, faith and science alike will be tested. What they learn might change them to their cores.

About the Author

Axel Widén is the original creator and GM for the podcast version of Eater of Worlds, and the author of three of the adventures in the offical Scenario Compendium 1 for Coriolis - The Third Horizon. To many roleplaying Swedes he’s a familiar voice in Vi Spelar Rollspel, a long-running and beloved AP podcast. With bachelor degrees in history and religious studies, he holds the Third Horizon as a favorite setting for how uniquely inviting it is to the unlimited palette of real world inspirations. Axel lives in Gothenburg with his wife, where he earns his living making murder mysteries and boardgames at Kamajispel.
