🎉 Stretch Goal Unlocked! 🎉
Thanks to the incredible support from our backers, we have successfully unlocked our first stretch goal! This means the IEZEN Companion App is officially moving from an idea into the development roadmap.
With the app, IEZEN will become more customizable and interactive, allowing users to create personalized pixel effects, customize animations, edit content, and explore more ways to play. We are excited to continue improving the experience and bring more creative possibilities to this little interactive fidget device.
Thank you for helping us push IEZEN beyond our original vision. Your support is making these new features possible! 🚀
The biggest difference is simple: most fidget toys do not have a screen. They rely only on mechanical motion, which can be satisfying, but limited. IEZEN adds a 150-pixel RGB LED matrix to the front of the device, giving every interaction a visible response.
The screen allows IEZEN to display fluid animations, candle effects, warning lights, rainbow patterns, hourglass motion, dice results, decision prompts, push counts, and more. Instead of being just another metal slider, IEZEN becomes a small electronic toy with its own visual language.
IEZEN is built with a 150-pixel RGB LED matrix that turns every interaction into a colorful visual response. The 5 × 30 pixel layout is compact enough to fit inside a slim EDC body, but expressive enough to show animations, numbers, symbols, mode feedback, and playful pixel effects.
This is what makes IEZEN stand out from traditional fidget toys. A normal slider only moves. IEZEN moves, lights up, reacts, and gives each mode a different visual personality. Whether you are rolling dice, activating warning lights, counting pushes, or watching a fluid animation, the screen makes the experience feel alive.
At its core, IEZEN is still a real fidget slider. The physical push movement gives your fingers a clear, repeatable action that feels natural during work breaks, thinking moments, calls, travel, or casual desk play.
Fluid Mode turns the LED matrix into a flowing pixel animation. Activate it with a left slide and touch, then watch the light move across the display like digital liquid.
This mode is designed for visual relaxation. Instead of a simple mechanical action, the screen gives your movement a soft, flowing response that makes the toy feel calm, smooth, and alive.
Candle Mode creates a gentle flickering effect inspired by a small flame. It gives IEZEN a warmer, more atmospheric personality, making it suitable for desk use, nighttime relaxation, or quiet moments.
This mode shows how the screen changes the product from a simple slider into a visual object. It can be a fidget toy, but it can also become a small ambient light experience.
Warning Light Mode creates a bold signal-style lighting effect. Push the slider and the screen responds with a strong visual pattern, giving the toy an instant trigger-and-response feeling.
It is simple, direct, and fun. This mode makes IEZEN feel like a small gadget toy, where one push produces a clear and satisfying electronic reaction.
Rainbow Mode fills the display with colorful pixel movement. The RGB LEDs shift through vivid patterns, giving the device a bright and playful energy.
This is one of the clearest examples of why IEZEN’s screen matters. A traditional fidget toy can only repeat the same motion, but IEZEN can create changing visual experiences through light.
Hourglass Mode uses the LED matrix to create a time-flow visual effect. Activate it with a left slide and touch, then watch the pixels behave like a digital hourglass.
It brings rhythm and progress into the fidget experience. The screen gives the action a sense of movement over time, making the toy feel more interactive than a normal slider.
Dice Mode turns IEZEN into a pocket-size random generator. Push the slider and let the screen generate a dice result.
This mode is perfect for quick games, small decisions, or playful moments with friends. It adds surprise to the product and makes the fidget toy feel more like a tiny electronic game.
Decision Mode helps you make quick choices with a simple push. When you cannot decide, push the slider and let IEZEN generate a playful answer.
It is not meant to make serious decisions for you, but it adds fun to small everyday choices. The screen gives the response, and the push gives the moment a satisfying physical action.
Wooden Fish Mode is inspired by the calming rhythm of repeated tapping and counting. Use touch interaction to create a simple, meditative feedback loop.
This mode is ideal for users who enjoy quiet repetition, focus rituals, or slow stress relief. It turns IEZEN into a small digital rhythm object that combines touch, light, and counting.
Slider Mode focuses on the core fidget action. Slide, touch, and enjoy the physical movement while the screen provides responsive visual feedback.
This is the mode that connects the mechanical and electronic sides of IEZEN most directly. You get the feel of a real slider, enhanced by pixels and feedback.
Push Counter Mode records your sliding actions and turns them into a visible count. Each repeated movement becomes something you can see on the screen.
Instead of fidgeting without feedback, IEZEN gives your movement a number and a sense of progress. It makes repeated play feel more rewarding and trackable.
Vibration Mode focuses on tactile feedback. Push the slider and feel the device respond with vibration in your hand.
This mode highlights the haptic side of IEZEN. Combined with the metal body and compact slider form, the vibration creates a more physical and satisfying fidget
IEZEN is designed with motion-sensing interaction, allowing the device to respond to how it is handled. Instead of relying only on a single button or one repeated action, the toy can support more natural and playful ways to interact.
This makes IEZEN feel more like a small electronic companion than a static object. Slide it, touch it, move it, and explore how each mode responds.
The dual-direction structure also makes the toy more suitable for repeated play. It supports both tactile fidgeting and electronic input, allowing the physical slider movement to become part of the digital interaction system.
With 22.3 mm of push travel, IEZEN gives your fingers enough movement to feel a real mechanical action while keeping the entire product slim and pocket-friendly. It is not just a tiny button press or a shallow tap — the movement has enough distance to feel satisfying.
This balance is important for an EDC fidget toy. IEZEN stays compact enough to carry every day, but the slider action still feels physical, deliberate, and rewarding.
IEZEN uses a golden-ratio-inspired mechanical curve to create a more refined pushing rhythm. The movement is designed to feel natural through the full travel, with a progression that feels smooth, controlled, and satisfying in the hand.
This detail may be hidden inside the structure, but it matters every time you play. Fidget toys are all about repeated motion, and IEZEN was designed to make that repetition feel more intentional and less generic.
IEZEN uses five Hall sensors to detect the slider’s position during movement. This allows the electronic system to understand the physical state of the slider and connect mechanical motion with digital feedback.
For most fidget toys, movement ends with hand feel. For IEZEN, movement becomes input. The device can use that input to trigger LED effects, vibration, counting, mode actions, and interactive responses.
The video shown here demonstrates a planned app-connected customization feature for IEZEN. Through the app, users may be able to create and apply custom light effects, text, and pixel animations to the device.
Please note that the companion app is currently in the development planning stage and has not been officially released yet. Because app development, testing, and publishing require additional resources, we plan to make the app a stretch goal. If the campaign reaches a certain funding milestone, we will have the resources to move forward with full app development and release.
The current product already supports its built-in play modes and core device interactions. The app-connected customization shown in the video represents an extended feature we hope to bring to backers if the campaign receives enough support.
Thank you for understanding and for helping us make IEZEN a more open and customizable electronic fidget toy.
