Hello! I'm Eelis Kyttanen. Thank you for checking out my playmat collection. I've been working as an illustrator on Magic: The Gathering for five years, and during that time have had the opportunity to paint artwork for cards such as "Songbirds' Blessing", "Cryogen Relic" and "Blossoming Defense".

I've always wanted to print these artworks on playmats, and this Kickstarter is our chance to make this a reality! Out of the three, "Songbirds' Blessing" is an especially important painting for me. It was my very first oil painting for Magic and I still find it to be one of the best artworks I've ever done.

You can check out my MtG cards here.

The Playmats

1. The MtG playmats will be printed by Ultrapro and will feature both Ultrapro and MtG logos.
2. Playmats with my original artwork will be printed by a separate company and wont feature any logos aside from my website address.
3. All mats will have white thread stitched edges.
4. All the mats are about 24x13.5 inches.
5. Each mat will be signed by me in the lower right corner.
6. After the campaign ends, the mats will retail for 50 USD/ 70 CAD/ 42 EURO each. CAD and EUR are subject to currency fluctuations.

Since the regular MtG art size doesn't fill out the whole playmat, every artwork has been lovingly hand-extended by me.
