★ Explore - Navigate your vessels to unexplored systems and claim the discovery rewards for charting new stars. By thoroughly scouting your surroundings you will identify the systems rich in asteroid belts, materials, and with ideal spots to deploy structures.

 

★ Use Actions - In your turn, you perform a single action by moving an Action Cube to the dedicated slot next to the action's name. This allows for minimal downtime and a lot of opportunities to react to other players' moves.

With actions, you can Move your fleets to new systems and Claim them to Extract resources. You can either Manufacture or Trade these resources to Build ships and structures. Stay ahead by Researching new developments and keep an eye on your ISK track to not go over budget.

★ Research Developments - Just like in EVE Online, you can navigate your progress in any direction you want, the possibilities are endless. Choose from 55 unique developments, keep them hidden from your enemies, and invest your research to unlock a wide range of bonuses. Reveal your technologies at the right time to catch your enemies off-guard. 

 

★ Command Fleets - Once an encounter begins, you step in to create a battle formation by spreading your fleet across three orbits. In each, you can assign one leader and any number of supporting ships. Orbits determine the order of attacks and the type of custom dice used. Adapt your formation and make use of Strategy Cards to deal with every kind of challenge that awaits in War for New Eden.

  

★ Strike from the Orbits - The number of dice used in attacks from each orbit is determined by the Attack Statistic value of the Leader increased by the Support Statistic of all supporting ships. In the roll, the number of Aim Results must match or exceed the Difficulty Statistic for the attack to go through. For each Damage Result that exceeds the target's Reduction Statistic, it will lose a Hull Point. Crit Results also deal 1 damage but can additionally trigger excruciating bonuses depending on the Leader!
