Welcome! We're honored to have you aboard for your first campaign here on Kickstarter, whether you're new to the platform or crowdfunding in general, we thank you for stopping by.

We've prepared a quick and easy guide to get you up to speed with our campaign process, with details on what a crowdfunding campaign looks like from start to finish! 

Shipping & Taxes

Worldwide Shipping

We are able to offer shipping to destinations outside of those listed above only if the backer accepts that we are unable to provide free reshipments for any packages lost in transit.

For a limited number of countries, no shipment may be possible due to current world events, such as embargo, war, or other government actions. Those shipments may be delayed or the order may be refunded if shipment is not possible.

We plan to ship these packages worldwide from our fulfillment center in Germany (for best cost), so please take that into account when considering your import costs. Due to the reliability challenges for destinations not listed specifically in our destinations graphic above, if your package is lost in transit, we will only be able to provide you with a reshipment if you pay the shipping cost again.

By backing this campaign and asking us to ship your rewards to an address outside of the locations listed on our Destination Summary, you understand and agree that you are responsible for paying the cost for a reshipment in the event that your initial shipment is lost in transit. The reshipment cost for lost packages is the same cost as the original shipment. You also agree that you are responsible for paying any taxes, customs, and other local fees or charges associated with receiving your rewards. 

Taxes

In the pledge manager stage of this project, taxes will be collected and remitted by Kickstarter for the regions described below. Most regions do require that taxes are remitted based on both the product cost and shipping cost, so keep that in mind as you plan for these costs.

Please see below for more information about the tax rates to be collected for each destination. For all destinations outside of these specifically listed below, you may be required to remit local taxes yourself.

US TAX

Kickstarter will collect and remit sales tax in all US states where required to by their scope of business and local laws.

CA TAX

Kickstarter will collect and remit HST (which includes GST and PST), and QST as required by Canadian law based on their scope of business. You can view a summary of Canadian tax rates here.

EU VAT

Kickstarter will collect and remit VAT for all EU member states based on the OSS rules. You can view a summary of VAT rates here.

UK VAT

Kickstarter will collect and remit VAT as required by UK law. This will be at the 20% rate.

AU TAX/VAT

Kickstarter will collect and remit GST as required by AU law. This will be at the 10% rate.
