I made this board game in recognition of the stress and pain that are inevitable parts of life when people resort to faulty thinking and logical fallacies. The critical thinking skills taught in this game are that much more critical. In addition to physical copies that can be purchased as a Kickstarter reward, I'm offering a downloadable version for much less cost. THE GAME

Life is hard. Conflict with loved ones, managing money, career woes, existential angst, climate change, political fights. We all have plenty of reasons to feel stressed out. Luckily, there are skills available that can help us stay present and manage these problems effectively. Fallacy Fighters is a fun way to learn about logical fallacies and cultivate critical thinking skills. The game is based on the principles of Socratic Thinking, skepticism, and scientific methodology. 

The goal of identifying logical fallacies and learning about critical thinking is to help us all be present, show empathy, listen intently, live in the moment, deal with stress in healthy ways, regulate our emotions, and improve our relationships. In playing this game, we hope these critical thinking skills help you navigate life, as you enjoy the good times, but also as you work through struggles and challenges along the way.

THE BACK STORY

The world of Equilibria once thrived on perfect harmony, powered by the luminous Core of Cognition and protected by the ancient Council of Logic. But when the shadows of distortion began to stir in the Kingdom of Knowledge, the Fallacy Fiend emerged—twisting truth, spreading confusion, and threatening the very foundation of reason. 

Now, rational thought is under siege, and only those brave enough to confront his deceptive forces can restore clarity. In this cooperative board game adventure, players take on the roles of Virtuous Victor, Logical Lucy and Factual Franklin and unite to expose fallacies, reclaim truth, and defeat the Fiend before misinformation consumes the realm. This is their story.
