Hope and glory. Minus the hope.

Show your players how hilarious death can be in this book of all-new one-shot adventures based on the comedy TV show from DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill! Streaming now on the D&D Adventures channel.

Packed with adventures both from the TV series, live shows, and new for this book, Faster, Purple Worm! Everybody Dies, Vol. 2 is an even deadlier addition to everyone's adventure library!

What is Faster, Purple Worm!?

What is Faster, Purple Worm! you ask? Every episode is the incredible story of four intrepid 1st-level characters who go up against an epic DUNGEONS & DRAGONS monster on an unpredictable journey to meet their heroic demise. Full of improv fun and excitement, it gives every player the joy of creating a truly heroic character and playing them to their fullest.

"This was probably the most approachable campaign I've ever run.  There were no real moments of confusion or missing information.  I'm planning to have any of my players that want to DM, but have been too nervous to try, to run one of the adventures from the book.  So thrilled to be a part of this." - playtester of Everybody Dies, Vol. 1

What's in the Book?

Everybody Dies, Vol. 2 features a unique collection of one-shots. Each story pits a heroic band of tragically outmatched low-level characters against an epic monster from D&D lore, challenging these doomed souls to find small victories against a comically overpowered foe. It includes:

  • At least 12 original adventures (with more added as Stretch Goals), each designed to be completed in 1-2 sessions, written by Kailey Bray, Jon Ciccolini, Gina DeVivo, Jared Logan, Sarah Madsen, Charlie Rehor, Bill Rehor, Diana Voyer, and Ethan Yen
  • New magic items
  • Original player options designed specifically for Faster, Purple Worm! adventures, including all-new origins, feats, and spells
  • A scrapbook from live shows of “Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!”
  • Higher tiers combine the book with a premium, boxed “Overkill Edition” with B&G favorites like a DM screen, battle maps, encounter cards, and handouts

The Adventures [SPOILERS AHEAD!]

Everybody Dies in Thirty Seconds: The Blackstaff of Waterdeep needs your help to prevent an invasion from the Abyss. All you have to do is survive for, well, you guessed it.

The cast of "Thirty Seconds" enjoys a laugh before the fatal end.

Everybody Dies for Sir Talavar: Everyone’s favorite mustachioed pseudodragon has been kidnapped. Head out into the haunted bogs of the Mere of Dead Men to rescue him before it’s too late.

Matthew takes charge in "Sir Talavar" at GameCon Canada.

Everybody Dies at the Theater: An innocuous job offer turns into an epic battle as a horde of ferocious demons attacks the Lightsinger Theater. The show must go on!

Use this epic battle map to plan your performance in "At The Theater."

Everybody Dies and Justice is Served: You owe the Zhentarim. Big time. Now they have a little job for you to make things right…

"Justice is Served," on the D&D Adventures channel. Yeah, things got wicked.

Everybody Dies Conversing in a Crypt: A legendary lich from the depths of 2nd Edition lore has resurfaced. Can you rescue the innocent sacrifices without becoming innocent sacrifices?

Will a clue from this Netherese fragment ensure you survive? No.

Everybody's Apprentice Dies: When the true heroes are unable to join the quest, it’s time for “Next one up!” That’s you, in case you hadn’t guessed.

Our Glass Cannon friends play "Everybody's Apprentice" at Gen Con 2025.

Everybody Dies on a Gold Cobblestone Path: Gather familiar friends as you journey to confront an evil witch and her winged servants. Can you devise a way to destroy her? If you only had a brain!

Seth Green in "Styes," Episode 1 of Faster, Purple Worm, Kill! Kill!

Everybody Dies in a Fixer-Upper: They say the three most important things in real estate are, “Location, location, location!” We’d suggest that at least one of those should be changed to, “Not infested with deadly monsters,” but what do we know? (LEVEL 2)

Gina DeVivo DMs her "Fixer-Upper" episode on the TV show.

Everybody Dies and Goes to Hell: You fought valiantly in an epic battle. The good news is that you’ve advanced your skills to 2nd level; the bad news is that you died. But when you awaken in the underworld, you realize that death may be just the beginning… (LEVEL 2)

Everybody Dies in the Temple of Terrors: A forgotten shrine deep underground holds the power to summon a fearsome devil into your world. Can you get there before the evil worshippers can complete their ritual? (LEVEL 3)

The lord of the land beseeches you to save the realm in "Temple of Terrors."

Everybody Dies in the Mouth of Madness: A trip through the mysterious mists ends in a sinister domain where elder gods rule. A powerful artifact holds the secret to returning home, if only you can find it in time. (LEVEL 3)

Ross Bryant and Mary Lou leave them rolling in the aisles during "Mouth of Madness" at Gen Con 2026.

A doomed quest demands a particular kind of doomed hero. Vol. 2 contains a variety of unique character-building options to optimize your heroes for their predetermined fate. Choose from at least 5 new backgrounds, 5 new spells, and 10 new feats - with more to be added through Stretch Goals!

“One of the best batch of 'One Shots' I have ever run for my players! Made an otherwise boring night where we were missing a couple people into an interesting night of madcap mayhem!” - reviewer of Everybody Dies, Vol. 1

Over the past few years, FPWKK has become a staple of RPG conventions across the country. Everybody Dies, Vol. 2 contains an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes section with stills from our shows, as well as insights from the cast and crew who make them come alive.

Discover the Joys of Certain Death

These short, simple adventures are perfect for a change of pace from your usual campaign, a game where your entire party isn’t available, or a short session on a work night. Because these quests are not survivable, you don’t have to worry about planning or scheduling the next session, and the prep time for DMs and players alike is very minimal.

Aside from the Total Party Kill at the end, they’re not that different from any other low level adventure, really. It might be a bit lighter in tone than your normal game. At the end, your characters will be mourned and celebrated. But it still contains everything you love most about sitting down at a table to play DUNGEONS & DRAGONS.

These adventures definitely have more built-in opportunities for improvisation and randomness than a typical experience. The “Keeping it Spontaneous” sidebars throughout the book provide DMs with an optional tool to encourage players to add their own imagination to the story.

“This is the kind of intelligent, imaginative, and useful RPG writing I’ve been waiting for. Each chapter has a great eye for how the scenario can be adapted, and the notes on tone in the introduction sets great guidelines for how to make your own FPWKK stories. I hope this is the beginning of many more offerings of original content from this incredible team.” - reviewer of Everybody Dies, Vol. 1

So You’re Saying There’s a Chance?

We understand that a Total Party Kill may not be for every DM or group of players. For those who prefer a challenging but survivable session, each story concludes with a suggestion for adjusting the lethality down to standard levels, allowing you to use it as part of a more traditional D&D campaign.

Experience a TPK Today!

As Beadle & Grimm’s co-founder Matthew Lillard often says, “The best way to spend a life is around a table with friends.” Everybody Dies, Vol. 2 will give you more hilarious reasons to gather your gaming group around the table - virtually or in-person - to laugh, improvise, and battle your way through a memorable and totally unique evening of D&D. Together, you may just find the meaning of a (short) life well-lived.

"Our small group has a ton of real life experience and diversity within it. Former special forces, special needs educators, ex-athletes, care giver, business owner, Moms, Dads, pet parents, gay, straight, black, white, Hispanic, Asian etc etc. We all have experienced some real highs and lows through life. Sure, FPWKK sessions can always be a few hours of silly fun at their core. But they can also invite players to open up a whole new level of introspection and exploration via the finality of a character. I know it's cheesy, but something tells me whoever is reading this understands. Getting a group together for something like D&D is so dang special, and you are providing a new twist on it. A twist that is very likely going to have a positive impact on a few peoples’ lives." - playtester of Everybody Dies, Vol. 1

What's in the Box?

The "Overkill Edition" contains everything you need to make every FPWKK game an immersive experience. The contents are listed below - all quantities are estimated and subject to change as the product is finalized.

Everybody Dies, Vol. 2

The Overkill Edition includes a copy of the hardcover book.

DM Screen

The exterior of this all-new screen shows off some of the outstanding artists who contributed to the book. The interior provides you with quick-reference tables to make running Everybody Dies adventures more streamlined.

Battle Maps

The box contains 14 epic Battle Maps of key combat areas that are scaled for minis use. Each map has a label to indicate the adventure it supports. Unfold these and watch your players vainly search for a way to survive.

Encounter Cards (30+)

Designed to rest on the top of your DM screen, these Encounter Cards have artwork from Everybody Dies for the players on the front and DM info on the back. Put these up and watch your players exclaim, “We’re fighting that?”

In-world Handouts (12+)

Whether it's a letter, a clue, or a set of death certificates, let your players hold the item in their hands instead of just describing it. Pass one of these beautifully realized handouts over the DM screen and watch your players' eyes light up with hope. It won’t last.

REWARD ITEMS

Purple Worm Mini Details

Rendering of alt paint job created specifically for this Kickstarter. Bloody enough?

Our Gargantuan WizKids premium figure uses their "Gravedrinker" mold but has been painted as a particularly bloody classic purple worm, specifically for our Kickstarter. This slithering rigatoni of doom measures just over 7 inches tall, 8 inches wide (end of its mouth to the farthest curve of its back), and sits on a 100mm base taking up a 4” x 4” square. Use it in the “Everybody Dies in a Fixer Upper” adventure from Volume 2, or just place it next to your players’ minis to renew their sense of perspective.

MEET THE TEAM

Beadle & Grimm’s Pandemonium Warehouse was summoned up by the five founders (including Matthew Lillard of Scream, Five Nights at Freddy's and Scooby-Doo fame) as a mid-life crisis. And like any good summoning, it has gone awry and grown into an actual company, only nominally under our control. We are gamers. We love games. We play games. And now we, or at least this thing we have summoned, make games for gamers like us - and you. We hope these things we have created bring you the same joy they bring us.
